Living in San Francisco, sharing a laundry room is very normal here too! Every month I use the Affresh washing machine cleaning tablet and run an empty load on hot..! That gives me peace of mind, especially washing my baby’s clothes there too.

Sharing laundry is absolutely fine. I think most people who live in apartment have shared laundry facilities. Whoever left a rude comment is obviously someone who judges everyone. She must be a real charmer! You’re the best, Girl.

As you said "you never know where life might take you" - It's about being grateful for what you have and stop putting others down for what their reality looks like. Always, when you are telling stories about you're childhood and diffifulties while growing up, I always hope you know how proud you can be of yourself! Kyra people are so stupid sometimes. I live in Switzerland, in Zürich, one of the most expensive cities in the world and people have money to buy themselves a washer or dryer if they could but it is in society here to have a shared washing room. Most of the apartments have one and everyone wash their clothes like that and nobody gives a damn. I dont understand why American society is so sick in the head sometimes to be honest to judge you for that. Please dont feel bad at all.
I agree I always either used a laundry matt or at an apartment complex where everyone uses it. Def. Not gross it's normal to most people. I think having your own washing machine and dryer is just a nice luxury.

First & foremost you are such a Beautiful Woman. Don't allow anyone to ever body shame you. I am 57 and struggle with my weight, I recently lost some weight, but realize that even if I gain it back I am the same person. Always show yourself plenty of grace.

It's normal to share a laundry room! Especially in an apartment building. People are too spoiled! I used to travel alot with my parents when I was a kid...so my Dad could work his jobs and while staying in hotels we always had to go to a laundromat. People it is normal and fine!😂
So satisfying to see you clean your home (while Milo's passed out on his perch in dreamland 😸). Now you've got me thinking of the state of my bathroom and bedroom 😭. I too gained weight post COVID. Could stand to lose 40 lbs, but I'm putting no pressure on myself because I've been there (joined a gym), done that (lost weight and toned up), and still struggled being happy with myself. Being easier on myself and taking the spotlight away from negative thoughts will go a long way and be the key to sustained weight loss.
Love the cleaning video it definitely motivates me too! Also wanted to mention, for the toilet you can also try a pumice stone, that’ll help to scrub off the buildup without much effort. Also for the grout you can try Clorox cleanup bleach, mine gets so bad and I can usually spray, let set for 15 minutes and scrub it all away. Keep it up Kyra, sending best wishes!

Kyra, I’m happy that you’re now confident enough now to wear shortsleeves. I get how gaining weight sucks. I’m about the same size and really trying to get rid of the excess weight by walking and eating better….it’s not easy! Anyway, we love you for you, not for the way you look etc. BTW, you have always been beautiful no matter the size, I bet yiur hubby will agree with this :) Keep them videos coming as much as you can! Kyra, minimalist question. What is the difference between being a minimalist vs being frugal? My family had this argument with me over the weekend. I've reduced the stuff I own because I am happy with less is more, more space feels free in my living space, my life and emotional well being. But when I started pinching pennies here and there my family argues that I'm no longer a minimalist they called me "cheap" because I'm an individual with a profession but I don't like spending. I don't know why I took it so personal but do you want to shed some light on that?

We all have things about ourselves we are not comfortable with. Watching you be brave about being comfortable with yourself inspires me to be brave too. I can easily be so critical about all of my "imperfections". But none of us are perfect and I truly believe it is our imperfections that make us beautiful - and not just some photo-shop, plastic surgery, fake version of who we think we should be. I hate wires but some items are better in the wire version than wireless. Maybe for chargers, companies should use standard chargers so we can use 1 for several things 🤔

Girl I don't mean this in an offensive way but sugar cravings can be a sign of PCOS, PCOS can also be responsible for weight gain, acne and a lot of other symptoms, please look into it for your own well being. And about hiding yourself, don't hide yourself, you look amazing, give yourself a break from judging your appearance :)
I tested for PCOS 3 times and all 3 test came back negative. My cravings are from refined sugar (my doctor told me) and my weight gain is from me not moving my body as much as I use to. Literally everything in the US has added sugar, which I have calmed down on a lot lately :) Thank you

I gained 100lbs in the last year and a half, going from 200lbs to 300lbs. I look back at photos of my 200 lb self, now I think I looked beautiful even though at 5’7 I wasn’t by any means thin. At the time though, you couldn’t tell me I had a nice body, that I wasn’t the biggest, ugliest woman in the room, it makes me really sad now. At 300lbs I’ve felt that same way, in my mind it was true this time around b/c I’m the biggest I’ve ever been. I am trying really hard these days to find beauty in how I look now, I think finding no value in how I looked has been a big part of why I’ve gained the weight. I am losing weight, I just don’t want to wait for a certain # on the scale before I’m allowed to feel good about how I look. You’re so beautiful Kyra, our minds aren’t the most reliable when it comes to seeing ourselves. Weight loss is a slow process and isn’t a sure fire way to love how we look, lets try and do it anyway even it feels like pretending
I know the feeling of the weight gain. I don't take pictures of myself ever since I gained 30lbs. I was once the flat ab, cute booty slim face chick. Now I had to shut down my tick tock account because someone said I had the body of Mr. Crabs from sponge bob -_-. As long as we are healthy lets be content with ourselves.
I know wires are annoying but there are physics reasons why sometimes they work better. Rechargeable power supplies for every single appliance to deliver the electricity needed to perform reliably might be just as bulky as the wires, and the discharge rate may create a lot of heat, to the point that just plugging into the wall is more convenient and safer as far as electrical power regulation is concerned, as well as preventing radio frequency interference noise with things that transmit through Bluetooth or wifi. That's why your wired headphones mic might be crisper than a headphone or airpods mic.
I hear you with the lack of focus, same here 🤷♀️ i realize this is my adhd and the only way i stop doing that is when i do cardio! As soon as i sweat, the chemicals in the brain calm down and my focus is unreal!!! Hope that helps!

It’s so rude to comment on it being disgusting to share a washer and dryer with other people. Some people are not fortunate enough to have their own washers & dryers. Some people are also not fortunate enough to even have multiple clothes that need to be washed. It’s so important to be kind. Everyone is walking a different path in life.
I’ve always thought you have the perfect/gentle/non judgemental energy to help hoarders or people that don’t have time or don’t know how to clean. Good way to make money too
