As a geology student and prospector, I love how genuine this show is. It really captures the reality of small scale mining operations, and manages to be exciting and entertaining without playing things up too much. Keep up the good work guys!
Mount Antero, white mountain, Jones peak and Mt. Shavano was my geology thesis area for my M.S. degree at Oklahoma State. Brought back lots of memories of three months hard work. A side benefit at the end I was in great physical shape. Great show!! The aquamarine activity in 1968 was minor compared to what I’m seeing now.
Old disabled house bound dusty rusty Rockhound here: Wow! Y'all are dedicated. Great videos. Having hunted on Mt. Antero before ('60's & '70's)... I suffered high altitude cerebral edema and had to descend to a safer altitude. If people haven't experienced high altitude issues before, they may not appreciate the amount of effort and energy required to function at that altitude level. My hat's off to y'all!!! Rock on!!!
interesting......a lot of work goes into this,,,,,this is a good show,,its all real, no drama, no fakes ,,,real people working together,,,and making things work out,,,,
It’s so thrilling , even when you pull out a piece of fluoride- but that huge aqua at the end - oh baby! guessing I’ll be a rock hound to the bitter end❤
G'day. Got hooked on Prospectors back in the day, bummed when it was cancelled. So really excited to see one of the originals from that show still going strong. Good luck with it all guys, hope you are able to keep your family tradition going strong for generations to come.
As a geologist and retired gold prospector, I can fully appreciate the hard work it takes to pull precious minerals from the Earth, but our work was never in such precarious locations or high altitudes. Congratulations on the exquisite finds up on Antero! Blue stones are my favorite and I wish I could come over to Buena Vista and shop! Such beauty to behold!
Thank you all for putting out these informative and entertaining videos! I appreciate all the hard work that goes into the videos on top of your mining operations. This is what those overdone TV shows wish they could be.
I'm so happy this is on YT now. I use to watch Prospectors on Weather channel. But I don't have cable anymore. I love these guys! Very hard work. Love the aquamarine!💙💎😊
Thanks for making this series and welcoming us into your Bonanza of pretty blue finds. I feel like I need an NA meeting after watching. "C'mon Dude, just 5 more minutes".
Oh my gosh what a life style...I love it. If I was 30 years younger that is. I am thoroughly enjoying watching your teams uncovering those blues and sharing in the joy of the find. Thank you for sharing this with us. I'm a fan.
I have been to the top of antero for the last 3 years, riding utv's,,,, and I have seen you working the mountain. I have the utmost respect for all of you...and I wish you the best of luck....and I hope you make billions !!!!!
I love your show! So happy to find new episodes. I really hope you keep this going. I wish though you would explain more about some of the mineral terms so I could be on your level a bit but you really have made prospecting look like the ultimate adventure!
Love your show! My 3 small boys and I really enjoy watching you find Aquamarine. Deep inside every little boy and girl is the dream of finding treasure. Good job guys!
As a viewer who is interested in crystals, gems, and mining, I love to see what you are doing here, showing the people how you find and collect these beautiful aquamarines but I would love to see more of the cleanup. This is the really exciting part :D. I would also love to see more of the gems and how you process them and how they are turned from rough stones into pieces of jewelry. Keep going and dig on :D
I can't tell you how happy I am to finally view this long awaited 3rd episode.... It appears that operations are goin well... Keep em comin Craig and so glad to see that Tracie has recuperated from her accident so well... She looks great! You guys are doin an awesome job and I'll be watching for future episodes... 👀 Greetings from Canada and I wish y'all good luck in your upcoming endeavors... 😉 ✌
im glad to see a new entry in this series. it's by far one of the best quality real docs you will see. Wish there was less times between episodes, I've been eagerly anticipating this one.
This has become one of my favorite series on yt, amazing job Danny and team. The production quality is great, and everyone presents themselves so well on camera. Super fascinating!
Awesome! I'm glad you guys are keeping on with the show. I was honestly bummed when I saw there were only the two pilot episodes a while back. If you keep making 'em we'll keep watching 'em. Keep up the good work.
As someone who actively prospects and digs myself, its such an awesome things to see the THRILL that Ian and Jason had! Ive felt the same excitement at my Amethyst dig, its super relateable. Watching those beauties roll out I felt like I was there with them! Keep it up Ian and Jason! Hope yall visit MT sometime soon!
This is my favorite show on RU-vid! Love how honest they are with the work that goes into mining by hand. I used to mine fire agate at a private spot every weekend just for fun. That was extreme heat in AZ so watching this is like polar opposite for weather 😂
Hey Tim I actually live in Arizona as well and would love to go gem hunting. I DO NOT want your secret spot lol but maybe some pointers or whereabouts to look around the Phoenix area? Thank you!
This series is amazing, I'll definitely be watching for the next episode! Just wanna thank you for sharing it with all of us, and to wish you all the best of luck!
I just saw a Steeler Jersey !!! 🤩. I’m from Pittsburgh. Go Steelers !!!!! I come to Colroado every June thru October. Mom has a summer home in Black Hawk. I’ve been rock Hounding for 4 years now and my Ultimate Bucket List is searching for Aqua on Mt. Antero !!! Love ❤️ your show !
Don't ever stop love watching this type of stuff gem fossicking and prospecting is the most fun you could possibly have with your pants on man I love it
Fantastic series, Stunning stones, I'm Daniel from the State of Espírito Santo in Brazil, there are many huge aquamarines specimens here, in a mountain called Pedra da Onça in Itarana city, in this mountain have been extracted over two tousand kilos, but the biggest one in the wolrd are discovered in the State of Minas Gerais in Brazil too. Congratulations guys!
It truly makes me happy to get that nice email notification that another great video just got released from you all. Such great quality content! sometimes things happen, not too much drama and you just keep at it, I really like that you show the success alongside the minor setbacks that happen 10/10 stars
To avoid the issues associated with newer excavators, buy the older ones, make sure the frame, and body are in excellent condition, replace all of the vital parts, and have the engine rebuilt and upgraded so that it produces more power. You end up with an excavator that is basically brand new, that digs like one of the newer models, but doesn't have the same issues that the newer ones do. They just run and run all day long.
I'm being selfish but I think you guys should make 2+ hr videos since you're not on the history channel anymore. I followed you guys since then and I love watching the whole process even if there isn't anything shown as in gems! Just a thought on future reference (:
42:52 looks like an exact replica of a scene from Breaking Bad, though the product looks similar "Look at the shards, dawg!!!", it is different. But, the visual is almost EXACTLY the same. Meth/Aquamarine, fine line, lol. But, great series, can't wait for each episode. So if we're addicted thru the screen, I can only imagine the levels of adrenalin involved firsthand! Be careful, have fun, get rich! Good luck to all of yr crew!
Beryl gemstones and tourmaline have always been my most favorite gemstones for their natural tall faceted structure. Natural has always looked better to me. I have a nice display specimen of Aquamarine and Heliodor on Mica in my collection.
I remember seeing y'all on that show that aired on the weather channel. I was wondering if that family of people from the show is still out there looking for gem's. I had no doubt that y'all would still be working the mountain because of your family background. Nice to see you got some good diggers working for you and the wife
