We don't deserve of this kind of devastating and destructive way of mining system in our land. Local are stetched their mouth while giants companies and oligarchs enjoyed the unfair treatments of our nature's.
@@King-ur7ev if you continue to destroy the environment, the quality of life deteriorates, you cannot eat money. The environment, untouched, is much more important than any of your mining products. Enough with the destruction, recycle all the nickel you have mined already.
@@YogaPinay Mining is an important part of our civilization. It is as old as agriculture. What we all have today, the technology, the easier way of living that each of us enjoy is made possible by the minerals/metals that is being mined from beneath the earth. Almost 90 percent of all the materials we need in building houses and technologies, we get it from mining. So whether you like it or not we need mining unless you want to live like the primitive humans in the old stone age without the conveniences of life. Mining in itself, is not wrong or immoral, instead it is a science and an engineering discipline that we must explore to make our lives easier. We can still mine minerals and metals without ruining or destroying our environment, and thats called responsible/sustainable mining. You have to progressively rehabilitate and restore the disturbed environment while mining. And there are many scientific techniques to do that, done by mining scientists and professionals. The problem, however, with mining is that when a greedy capitalistic mining company colludes with a corrupt government, they can easily disregard these good mining principles and best practices, resulting in the degradation of the environment and social injustices experienced by the people. To prevent that, 1.) the society, the citizens of the country should elect honest government officials that will protect the best interest of the country; 2.) the government should strictly regulate mining industries by implenting stricter mining laws; 3.) The government should cooperate with NGOs as watchdogs of the mining industrie, to prevent abuses. With these principles, mining, instead of being a liability, can improve the economy of a country and at the same time do its real mission, to help make our human lives way better than the past without degrading the environment and compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs
@@King-ur7ev Alas, the reality is: greed always win, the environment suffers, only a few get richer, the plight of the majority of the people worsens. Good, responsible mining is not the rule of the day.
@@YogaPinay and yet the society demands more than ever minerals from mining. Mining will never be completely phased out from the face of earth, because everyone just needs it. Instead people should strive to condemn greed, if they really love the environment
