Mining Sector - A Potential Game Changer 

Mining is a key sector in economy of developing countries. Australia, Chile and South Africa revived their economy by focusing on mining sector. China, Brazil and Peru, to name a few, have achieved laurels in mining field by utilizing help of their Armed Forces. Unfortunately, potential of Pakistan’s mineral sector is yet to be fully realized. Challenging environment for investors owing to inconsistent policies coupled with inadequate infrastructure; (transportation, power & water supply) are major impediments. It is about time to finalize a national approach for transformation of our $6.09 TRILLION mining sector, as it is already too late. To harness this, it is imperative to chart out a National Mining and Mineral Exploration Strategy cum action plan incorporating all stake holders; here Armed Forces can provide a base for detailed geological survey of complete country within a secure environment. Let's make mining industry backbone of our prosperous future.
