Such a rad ride, absolutely love this place! I did last 2 years in a row in June (snow at top) and August(smoke and heat) but next time I will hit it about this time of year!
Bummer I couldn't make it up there with you guys. Was fun to watch. I haven't run the classic this year so it was fun to live vicariously through ya. Hopefully next time we can catch up!
Unfortunately heard of a rider who die on this trail over the weekend he went off trail on an exposed portion of trail his bike was found 100 ft off trail and his body fell into the river and was recovered downstream.
@TheOutsiderMTB I haven't, no. I'm sure it's great! It's just that there's supposed to only be one 'mecca'. How can all of these places be THE mecca of mountain biking?
