Minion Bone Spear Necromancer Build Guide - Diablo 4 Season 4 

Thank you for your kind comment! I made some changes to the build as a result of the new patch, which you can find in the pinned comment and in the video description. Since they buffed the sacrifice bonuses, one of the changes I made to the build is to sacrifice Mages for the vulnerable damage bonus (20% vs 15%) and replace the Cult Leader board with Blood Begets Blood and take the legendary node. The build generates a decent amount of blood orbs by using Corpse Tendrils, so it's nice to be able to take advantage of the higher damage bonus.

It depends on what you mean by easy. Up to pit level 80 or so, you can get away with pretty much running around and spamming Bone Spear. At higher levels, you will need to put in more effort to maximize damage, e.g. summoning skeletons to proc Flesheater, using corpse tendrils consistently, making sure all enemies are cursed, etc. and you will still be doing less damage than a minions build. But the build is very versatile, so you can do Whispers and Helltides efficiently as well as Pits without needing to change the build. Regarding Tormented Bosses, while you won't one shot them like a minion build, it does good damage and is very safe since your minions will absorb most of the boss mechanics. I used this build for Tormented Duriel earlier in the season when I was undergeared and it handled it well.

You can use Grandfather, but I would not recommend it. The Bone Spear Casts Twice temper itself is worth 50%+ damage and the Serration aspect is worth 80% damage, so that is 170%+ increased damage there, which does not include the Int roll, the Crit Damage Roll, and the Crit Damage Temper. If you use Grandfather, you can probably swap Serration to the amulet and remove Grasping Veins. You could also remove the Requiem Aspect on the ring, but that would change the build a lot. You would have to sacrifice the minions, remove the Cult Leader board and replace it with something else.

Bone Spear has a high lucky hit chance and will proc Hewed Flesh often, which will in turn proc Necrotic Carapace, which generates fortify.

You need to use the Marksman Finesse manual on a Rogue to temper crit damage. There will be a manual with crit damage for all classes available in Season 5.

Yes, you need to level a Rogue, get the temper manual, temper crit damage with the Rogue, and then transfer back to Necromancer.

@@EurodanceSnob so without the mages, is this build just a bone spear build now with the skeletal defender as the tanks. So far im following the build and im having fun with it

Yes, but the difference is pretty small and you can still run Requiem with mages if you find that more enjoyable.

The Maxroll planner was updated after the 1.4.3 update and reflects the buffs to sacrifice in that update. If you want, you can still have mages by using Shadow Mages (or Bone), the damage upgrade, and putting Reqiuem Aspect on the ring.

Yes to both. If you are using Tyrael's Might, I recommend putting Hardened Bones on your pants and getting Essence per Second on your boots. If you're using Starless Skies, you should replace Requiem Aspect and Sacrifice Shadow Mages. See the planner in the pinned comment for more details.

Starless Skies could be a good option if you are having essence issues, especially with the recent buffs. May also consider adding an additional essence per second slot on chest/boots along with resource generation tempers on rings/amulet. The stat works very well with Aspect of Torment's 170% bonus to regen.

The planner was updated for the 1.4.3 patch which increased sacrifice bonuses. Changes mentioned in the pinned comment. The configuration in the video still works and the differences in damage are relatively small.

There's still the Skeleton Defenders and the priest will give you the ~20% damage bonus and healing.

You could replace Deathless Visage with Shako and the build would work fine, especially if you don't want to temper crit damage on your gear using a Rogue, but I think the damage is higher if you use Deathless Visage.

Yes. Probably best option is to replace the ring with the Aspect of Torment. If you find yourself needing more essence generation, getting boots with essence per second might help, or maxing out Grim Harvest.

Blighted Aspect procs when Shadow Blight does damage 10 times, and Shadow Blight itself only does damage after an enemy takes Shadow Damage 10 times. Not all builds have the ability to apply shadow damage easily.

It should be physical damage like Bone Spear itself.
