We LOVE Minions and so does Isobel. That's why we made her these adorable Minion Cake Pops for her 10th birthday. I'm sure you also know a person who'd loved to get these from you =)

how long do they stay fresh til? is it okay to make them 2 days in advance?

You can make them step by step if you keep them in the fridge. You can prepare the body for example at day 1 in the evening, cover them the next day and still eat them on the third day. Hope that helps =)

Did you use straws instead of cake pop sticks? I have some of those straws but I'm always worried they will get soggy from the cake and frosting and not stay sturdy enough.

Hey Ashley, yes we used straws and it worked perfectly. Since they are normally used for drinking where they get even more soaked, it shouldn't be a problem using them for cakes. If you are too worried about it, give it a try and make some cake pops for yourself and see how it works.

Idk if this is a dumb question. Do you use water or a Edible adhesive to stick to the body of the cake pop?

Martina Amador You can use both. Sometimes you don't even have to use anything on the cake pop, when they come straight out of the fridge the condensation usually makes them stick well enough.
