I agree but I will admit season one a wasn’t as bad as later seasons and I’d dawn was kept around maybe the environment wouldn’t be very good for the younger kids. Although this comment doesn’t age well in the older seasons 😬
I think she should’ve left I don’t think she has to be so rude to Abby Abby is doing her job they know what they are paying for So what do they expect?
MackZBoss needs to do a Dance Moms Uncovered about Minister Dawn. As she says, there's definitely more to Minister Dawn than the producers cared to show
Ha ha, when you think about it, Minister Dawn paved the path for the other mothers. She was the first (on the show) to fight with Abby so intensely. The OG Dance Mom.
@@iknowitstoolate1760 Wait i’m watching this right now and it was actually dawn! Dawns fight took place in the same episode, before the headband fiasco! Dawns was at the studio before the comp and Christi’s was at the competition afterwards :)
@@VillainApologist_ So when Reagan was filming Abby said that Reagan was stupid and that if her mother was her, she would take her child to the children's hospital and figure what was wrong with her. This really upset Reagan because she has an older autistic brother, and she would go with him for appointments and therapy sessions and all that kind of stuff. It basically triggered Reagan and she was hysterical, all the mom who weren't on the show called Reagan's mom and told her what was going on and Dawn went to the studio, and thus this scene happened
Also on Christi’s podcast Dawn said that in that fight Abby made some snarky comments about her minister job and her baptizing Christi ( she gave Christi an adult baptism)
That fight and how it was edited was disgraceful and character destroying. As Dawn has shared, Abby said the same to Paige - for her to go get her daughter's mental health checked. Like the producers did to Christi when she defended Chloe after Abby attacked Chloe's medical condition, they edited the scene, same for Dawn and Regan. Dawn was only defending Regan and as shared the producers offered them to come back, the same was expected of Christi and Chloe to return. Wonder which studio Regan went too, sounds like an awesome one to bring back Regan's confidence and help her grow as a dancer.
Dawn, in my opinion, is the best dance mom out of any we saw on the show. All of the mothers at one point or another said “I can’t let my child be treated like this” but then stay to subject them to more of that treatment. Dawn didn’t like how her child was treated, stood her ground, and left. There are definitely more than one dance studios in Pittsburgh and I’m so glad that they found a better one that actually built Regan up as a dancer. Good on Dawn! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
@@maddielopez8625 contracts is why. Seek out Rosie O’Donnell interview, within the beast said, knowing Christi and Chloe could not leave due to this contracts, she was going to make their stay and life’s a living hell and enjoy doing so, said while smirking and knowing Chloe was an innocent minor.
That was so unexpected omg 😳 glad that they're happy now, and I hope they didn't get too much hate! imagine being on the first ever fight on dance moms, that's just legendary
If you rewatch the first six episodes, there’s a lot of things in each episode that make it seem they were filmed on the same day. I know in one episode there was Cathy’s cake on the front desk that Abby takes her finger and eats some of the icing. That same cake was given to Cathy for her birthday a couple episodes later.
Wow i didn't notice that. Also when Maddie got sick in rehearsal, the girls were practicing the choreography for Electricity, but the producers put the Party Party Party music over it to make it seem as though this happened during the events of the first episode when it was actually the second.
Also when kelly borrowed Vivi’s costume and Cathy told her to give it back everyone is getting ready for the “my pumps” dance which was aired after Cathy left.
@@Rha_C That I have heard about. The 2nd episode was originally going to be the first and start off with the comp that you see in the first episode. When they changed their mind about the direction of the show (after seeing some drama) they then filmed some footage of them learning their dance to go with the way that they had then decided to structure the episodes.
I just find it dumb that the producers turned real friendships into enemies and Abby had her favorites and destroyed so many kid’s dreams going into the dance field and that the producers just held the camera in these kids/ adults faces while they were being ridiculed by a big mean woman who had nothing better to do like they should’ve showed more caring/ friend scenes then fighting and etc scenes like the bonus scenes where the girls actually looked happy and the moms were getting along were what I loved and the video showdown between Nia and Kendall was so uncalled for
I believe them 100% especially with the “the producers asked us to come back but we declined” the producers and everyone at Lifetime/Collins Avenue are absolute sick snakes simply for actually not caring how traumatic a child’s experience is/was with Abby, only so they’d have more drama to film. So glad Dawn, Reagan and Christi and Chloe left that toxic studio
Guys I give Dawn 100% support because if I was in her shoes it would have been worse coz that is her daughter after all who will fight for her she was Just 10
@@stxrrymidnight Hey, if you want to forgive a racist CHILD ABUSER for all the irreversible damage and pain she caused to innocent little kids, go for it, but don't think for one MINUTE that she has changed. She didn't change, she got CAUGHT and SHAMED into apologizing, she just wants to keep making $$$. Pray for her piggy bank, all day long lol!
I think the show's progression changed my opinion of Dawn. She had a really explosive appearance, but the longer the show went on, I understood her side more and more.
OMG being kicked out for not being professional and called every name under the sun, and paying for class now that is worth a fight for but I’m glad Regan is doing great
I know someone who would've put Abby in her place: Steve Wilkos I can envision him berating Abby for how she treated the kids, he could also demand she apologize to Chloe, Brooke, Paige and their mothers and maybe, he could throw a chair at her to make her feel how Paige felt when she threw a chair at her. What do you think the outcome would have been?
@@chichi3183 the better question is why you’re concerned with why we sometimes need to wear them as dancers. A hint: it’s about modesty. Maybe take the word of the dance educator and dancer with decades of experience and education? You’re missing the point.
I would never body shame but Abby making comments on some of the girls body’s is kinda messed up but Abby has no room at all to talk because just look at her.
Another fun fact! Abby Lee wasn’t supposed to be in Dance moms episodes; at least not in a major way- so this did happen in episode three…. Technically…. But the original episode 3 became the 1st episode as we now know it due to the good television Abby’s drama made.
The competitive vibe on dance moms would have been so stressful. Just the fact it was only a local dance studio, then those cameras come out and so do the hungry fame wolves. Editing blurs and twists any truth or real context. I was enlightened when Dawn told Abby, Jesus saw what was wrong and went after them. I got some strength out of that. I’m happy to find your real experience on that episode, and good to see you are sane reasonable people.
I knew from the very beginning it had nothing to do with that pastor I could tell from the first episode the way Abby was talking to people and the way she spoke with the pastor had no choice in the matter but to speak to Abby that way Abby is an abuser
I also heard that Abby’s studio was going bankrupt prior to the show and was saved by the show. I’m thinking it was going bankrupt because of so many people leaving (before Dance Moms started). Am I right?
I don't ever think this will change my thought of dawn being rude because she kept following Abby. Also because she was yelling with kids in the room with Abby. And she said let's play the bible game. That's not good to teach a bunch of little girls the bible game.
If you listened to what she said, she didn't wear socks. There were "no socks". Abby made that up later for the cameras to make it seem like a reason for the fight with Minister Dawn. One of the first things they said here was there were no socks involved, Abby said horrible things such as Regan was fat and Dawn should take her to the children's hospital etc. Abby is an abuser.
Tbh Dawn did something my mom would’ve done. Ha! My mom would’ve called the cops for Abby. If what they are saying is true, Abby shouldn’t be allowed to teach children. Some people can handle Abby’s criticism and some cant but really no child should have to hear an adult yelling at them every sing day about their looks or how they’re a failure.
Her name is Dawn and she is a minister, listening to the episode of Christi's Couch they said that that was the only time she had been called that. She then heard it after because people heard it on the show.
So, I have a question. More of a general question, really. Why do these dance girls train so hard, and so seriously, from such a young age... and then by the time they are 18 or so they are "retired" already?
