Really enjoy your content. Looking forward to more MCP and Shatterpoint content from you. You capture the "dude talking to you at the LGS and dropping knowledge" better than othet content creators. Keep it up.
@ZetroxWargaming The other Strange is pretty good on convocation, and with the changes on Daredevil you'll be able to use him on Defenders too (though I don't know how much he'll help or benefit from Daredevil's leadership)
@@loselot6044 Yeah unfortunately I don't think either strange gets too much from Daredevils leadership, but I'm definitely still bringing Wong there, and the extra physical defense is a big deal for him in terms of dying to stray character throws.
@@tatted_colossus1473 Yeah I think it could be really good, I love the idea of adding colossus to my bodyguard brick list. I did miss one of his changes too actually, he has a taunt instead of a bodyguard now, which combined with anti-push tech is really good.
New to Crisis Protocol so sorry if this is a dumb question, but when these card updates happen, can you still use the old versions or do you replace them completely? If I showed up to my local store with an old card, would that be frowned on, or is it a casual vs. tournament situation where only the new version is legal in a formal competition game?
Firstly welcome to the game! It's gonna vary vastly based on your local scene, for the most part people would prefer you use the new one, and if you bring the old card you can always pull up the updated one through one of the apps or something so you can see what's been changed, personally I'm not rushing to print off the new copies or anything, I'm just gonna have them digitally for reference, but I definitely encourage using the new stats, since for many models they feel much better to play now, and the ones that got weakened were because they were too strong before, which could lead to negative play experiences. In a casual game it'll be 100% up to your local scene, my local scene for example is mostly casual, but we still all use the updated rules as soon as they're available because it keeps it consistent with any other places/opponents we play games with.
Not quite, there's still a handful that have never been updated, I expect the old core ones to get updated in their re-release though, so probably only a few outliers left
