We are converting our Minivan to a Micro-camper to enable us to travel our country as well as go on short camping trips. In this video we make a pattern and cut the wood for the subfloor of our Minivan camper.
Just bought a Dodge minivan that I plan to convert and blessed to come across this video today. Love the scribe tip. Your video makes the task seem accessible to those of us without extensive skills.
Around here Portland we have a store called Mr Plywood you can get metric size plywood which is about 5 by 10 the only reason why I mentioned that is because I think you said that it was basically 5 ft wide I would go with a radical suggestion make the plywood the size of the space without cutting out for the trunk access if you angle cut the door for the trunk access maybe one side put in piano hinge Maybe easy trunk access and a place for your legs
I’m glad it helped. Thanks for the compliment. That video was done a while ago but I am still looking to complete the van. I expect to start again in the next 2 months and will do videos as I go. Have a great day!
Just happened to see this video, i am literally figuring out how im gonna do my floor in 2008 chrysler T&C, now i know, however ill be leveling the 3"-4" up front. Hope to see more videos soon. Thanks from St. Augustine!
@@geminiadventures8028 Glad to hear you'll be able to proceed. My minivan subfloor with access to underfloor storage is primed and ready to pick fun floor and porch paint colors. Best...
Agreed. Maximizing headroom is more important than level for me as well. We usually don't have control over how level the area is that we park on anyway.
