Idk why this song makes me feel almost melancholy after really resonating with the lyrics, in a good way. I had my family move away after countless efforts to keep my family together, I couldnt stop them and cried my heart out day and night feeling lonely, thinking why did I gain someone else's dream and happiness (Moving to a house of my own/Indepedent Freedom), when it makes me so sad and lonely being somewhere with no friends and no family which ngl I stil cry to night hoping I can just sleep and knock out to stop thinking of it all..I miss my family and blessed I have at least my dog with me who I cry and hug to sleep (Sorry for the tangent, I have a hard time sharing my feelings/pain, but oddly this song makes me feel I can let go of my hard self and embrace some "soft power" :3) Anyone going through anything similar or hard, please cheer up and know that your loved, appreciated and that theres music like this that can heal if you just let it

the drums are mixed insanely well, the synths and instrumental backing creates a really nice ambiance and the vocals are really clean. however, maybe the track is too clean to convey the theme of loss and loneliness? at the very least, i'd love to hear a bit more of an undercurrent of tension or discord that is being "drowned" in the sweetness. I feel like i just heard sweet indie lo-fi pop. Although it was executed super well, it left me wanting a little more 😊
