I think one of the main reasons it has seemingly worked so well to this point (with them debuting at such young ages) is that they have someone as rock-solid as Minji in a leadership role.

Sasser2015 Yes, and most of them are 18,17 I think. I feel like thats an age where most people have matured. They can watch out for the younger girls like Haerin and Hyein. I feel like 16 especially is a really volatile age. I made such close friends at that age, fought with and lost some close friends too. And these girls are in the public eye too. I hope all goes well for them and they have a safe and successful career and that they will always remain sisters

I can see why Ador made her the 'psychiatrist' in the OMG music video. She is very caring towards the other members. She is very balanced when it comes to leadership. She knows when to be serious and when to have fun. She's like a liaison between Ador staff and NewJeans. I feel like she gets overshadowed by the other members while performing. She's not the fastest learner, best dancer, and has a husky/lower vocal range which isn't the 'ideal' in k-pop (I believe she's starting to become the main rapper of the group for this reason); but without her, Newjeans wouldn't be Newjeans. She is the foundation of the group off stage. On a side note, Hani is the foundation of the group on stage.
