I had some low expectation so I was impressed. It's like, what happens if you were trapped in VRchat lol. They used a nice variety of camera angles. I do hope they more episodes. Melodic is a new term, I'm interested in learning more about.

A number of people actually find the Kinger/Gangle interactions to be the funniest parts of this episode. In those parts specifically, I think the long pauses with no music are intended to highlight the awkwardness of those interactions (as well as service the humor of Kinger's "mentally-stable" delayed reactions, startled by someone who's already been right next to him the whole time)

I felt their moments in ep2 was improved a lot, I definitely understood the kind of comedy they wanted out of them. can't wait for episode 3...

i know the cringe fanbase is building up already but its genuinely a great pilot with a really fun premise that can be pushed in all ways with a creative enough lead, also the animation is crazy for where it came from. Also im marrying pomni

I think we can all agree on that (marrying Pomni) And yes while there's room for improvement, it's still a pilot, and very impressive as things considered. More indie animation is always appreciated

The writing is about what I expected but it's pretty good and funny, technically the animation is real impressive for an indie work, character designs too (Pomni...)
