That stinks. You work so hard to open a business and somebody tries to wreck it. I’m so glad that the community is being very supportive, regarding the incident.
I guess that I don't really know where south Minneapolis ends and north Minneapolis begins, but 1400 Park Ave S sounds a lot like South Minneapolis. In any case, this event doesn't surprise me. This city has become less lawful every day for the last 2 years.
@@Therealtreasureg I am not. I used to do stuff in Minneapolis all the time. I would go for walks around the lakes and go on bike rides from St Paul over to the eatery next to one of the lakes and head back. Then I wrapped that up a couple of years ago. There were no longer places to eat and I didn't want to get back to my car to find it vandalized/have the catalyst cut off or have to figure out how I could go on my rides with a gun handy. Even then, if it just happened to be someone of African descent who harassed me and I had to defend myself, I would instantly be labeled a racist white supremacist. It just isn't worth it anymore. The risk outweighs the benefits now.
@@Therealtreasureg girl you need to chill .. it’s the truth it’s only getting worse sadly criminals have more rights then the victims .. getting out on bond and commit another crime..
The law enforcement act just like the people so how do you fix order when everything is currupt yall act like this is only going on here sadly youre wrong and i dont have to calm down cause i wasnt turnt up i said what i said. If you aint gonna help fix it why even waste your breath.?? At least im over here trying while yall spectating .
People who did this...please respect your communities whether you live there or not. This needs to stop. I'm pretty sure she would love to help you, if you had given her an opportunity. So sad.
Actually theres no proof that punishing criminals does anything to stop crime. We have to start taking care of our community before they become criminals. Affordable housing. More jobs, better pay :)
@@DearCriminalLove you are simply repeating the liberal lie. Punishment changes behavior. Psychology 101 - a rat that gets an electric shock will stop pushing the lever, a rat that gets a cheese will continue to push the lever. Why do you think the crime rate is low in Singapore?
@@Max47340 we need to explore the root of the problem, the upbringing of these people and how we can support them before their only option is to get desperate. Not just punishment - that is so backwards
Once someone is in the industrial prison complex they are likely to be in and out of it for the rest of their lives - punishment does not help I am telling you. Also I’m not a lib I’m a socialist love 😙
can we get some pictures of the burglars? (Note the reason why I wrote this is because in the video 15 secs in the reporter states the woman posted the pictures of the suspected burglars on social media, but can't find the pics).
The story says north Minneapoilis, but the address online is 1400 Park Ave. I want to support the bakery, too, but am confused about the location. That peach cobbler looked fantastic!
Certainly NOT in North Minneapolis it’s 1400 Park Avenue SOUTH close to Downtown Minneapolis. But let’s not say South Minneapolis or Downtown Minneapolis let’s blame it on the black community, yeah that’s original. NOBODY WILL KNOW. General population will just BELIEVE. SMH.
Minneapolis police didn’t take the job to obey the law, have drug addicts, thieves, and murderers patrol your neighborhood year after year and see how the community turns out
@@cutiepiecatloveallanimals6602 The law is not enforced through right and wrong. This means if you choose to kill a person, then you'll be set up for the good of society. 4 percent of people in prison are innocent because of law enforcement's misdeeds.
What is that supposed to mean? Are you saying that Black people did it? And if they did why does it matter the color of their skin? Yes Black people rob from other Black people but white people rob from other white people.
Oh dear Jesus, I want to remind you precious daughter of the Most High King, "IF God is for you, who can stand against you" Prayers for you and your business, and joy in your heart.
Her message at the end is so beautiful and powerful even though some people broke into her business she still believes in the good of others and knows that helping the youth is the key to a better community. God bless her she's doing amazing work 💖🙏
The JOURNALISM here is atrocious, I suppose we have RU-vid to blame for that! The headline is off by many miles, the bakery is at 1400 Park Avenue SOUTH. In any event the socio-economic crisis continues, hope they catch the perp(s)!
Hey, just to let you know, you can actually type in both *bold* and _italics_ in RU-vid. Put two * around a word to make it *bold* and two _ around a word to make it _italic._ Cool, huh? Now you can type with style and it doesn't look like you're shouting in your comments.
@@wareforcoin5780 Gee thanks, I perpetually worry about people who might be so prone to emotional problems online they HEAR TEXT AS SHOUTING, my god, how can I face that bleak existential reality for the anonymous trolls deeply concerned that I just MIGHT BE SHOUTING? ---Even though Art Pepper Meets the Rhythm Section is on in the background here, and I am, of course, NOT shouting? Even though, self-evidently, as a kind of apodictic truth, it must be the misinterpretation of one's direct, first-person noninferential psychic ideation that has conjured forth these IMAGINARY "shouts"?! Anyway, I repeat: the JOURNALISM is so atrociously disconnected from competence they still have this bakery located miles from where it is actually located. Have a fantastic evening , and may even I SHOUT THAT since it is freighted with positivity, or whisper it as softly as the finest gossamer threads of silk, or is that also something that will freak ya out?! rofl (NOT REALLY ROLLING ON THE FLOOR, comprenez-vous, mon vieux?)
Magic Johnson tried the same thing in South Central L.A with a movie theater thinking that the bad environment would welcome it. But some people just want to "stay down" and keep everything around them the SAME!!! It's a damn Shame when it's like that!!!
@@lauras9943 north is a complete project there's no point in opening anything because it will just get destroyed these people don't care about their community

@Sun Shine I live in north Minneapolis, and my neighborhood is pretty nice, I’m guessing you don’t live here and don’t know what your talking about, or are a snowflake boomer that can’t handle the future
Great, now her business insurance premium might hike a little. Cost of doing business. Why do people hurt the very ones, who are trying to make the community better?
I'm pretty partial to living in East St. Paul, actually. 99% of people here are decent, despite what you racists think. Working in retail is 800% easier here, barely anyone Karens out. Now, name a white community (Karen paradise) you'd like to actually live in. Go on. I'll tell you why it sucks. 🙃
How's that defund the police nonsense working out? This is also what happens when you have soft politicians and soft DA's. I feel bad for this woman and any business owner!
police accountability and making sure that bad cop stay off the street and are not abusing their power it’s still a worthy cause. Not everyone wants to defund the police, I’m so sick of the right wingers on here making this about race and crime. There are plenty of white people that have been killed by cops who are just hell-bent on abusing their power and lording it over others by killing people or maiming them. That should be something we should all be concerned about; police brutality!!!
