It only looks beautiful in this video. It's the burbs that have it. You can't even walk around at night there. You could get carjacked if you're not aware of your surroundings. I think it's gone down hill. Sad really.
@@tawnyschlienz9063 literally every city in America has similar issues. Minneapolis has been one of the cleanest , safest cities in America. Crime is everywhere
Nice video. You'll need to come back, there are several buildings under construction that weren't there when you shot this. Also the university has some areas that are much more beautiful than the stadium.

very week have a feelings that I'm flushed from ideas but then I'm creating content that have a totally different mood with a different music choice etc :) I wish I could have a little higher numbers here so I can spend more time on editing to put those videos on another level. @@armchairquarterback2672 I don’t know man. I live there. For the most part it’s completely fine. Yeah parts of the cities have definitely been hit hard by the Riots (Lake/University street in St.Paul) But, for the most part it’s still one of the nicest large metro areas I’ve been to. Crime has gone up here. You’re not wrong. But it’s gone up nationwide as well. I don’t think it warrants the use of the word “cesspool” lol that’s a bit harsh.
@@backroadswingrider854 Yeah our taxes are higher, but we also have higher avg incomes, less poverty, more people with health coverage, and our electric grid doesn't stop working during a cold snap.

Yes I’ve filmed this one last year, had some tremendous shots from there and then... I formatted this sd card... I’ll try to recover those shots but if I’m not gonna be able to do that I’ll just go and shoot it again
Great, EXCEPT it was all downtown footage. Minneapolis and St. Paul are so much more than their downtowns. How about a shot along Minnehaha Creek and over the falls. Mall of America, the Airport, Minnesota River footage, any of Minneapolis' lakes: Harriet, Lake of the Isles, Bde Maka Ska, Calhoun, Cedar, Nokomis,..
The poor old Foshay tower has gotten swallowed up by the other new and modern skyscrapers. I can remember a time when it dominated the skyline. And yeah... i'm old as dirt lol 🙂 The city/cities look great!
I've always wondered, I get why they're called the Twin Cities, but are they like Dallas & Ft. Worth, and only 30 miles apart? Together they form a huge metropolitan area known in TeXas as the DFW... beautiful skylines/cities by the way.
The twin cities is more than just Minneapolis and St paul. For a good 20 mile radius,maybe more, none of the cities have a commute between them. You just cross into the next city.

Yeah no. It might be beautiful in this video but it's gone down hill dramatically. I spent many a summer in the cities as a young person visiting with cousins. We used to play 500 n runamuck during the night. Yeah you can't even go out a night anymore. It seems. Lake Avenue is no more. It's no longer safe. If you visit the Mall of America you can't wear certain colors or get jumped, stabbed or shot. The first week it was open somebody got shot there. Vallyfair n you get your vehicle broken into. People would rather support criminals than the police departments which is really sad. Just bcuz of 1 or 2 bad apples in the department. But you really can't ask much from the liberals who run it these days. They let those riots n burnings happen n didn't do anything to help get em under control. Piss poor leadership if you ask me. They made their bed n now they can lie in it. The once beautiful cities are no more. No thanks.
