The Tibetan New year, also known as Losar, is the most important festival in the Tibetan calendar. It is celebrated over a period of 2 weeks, the first day of Losar in 2017 will fall on February 27. As Losar draws near, joyous and festive atmosphere permeates Tibetan around the world.
