Local geology is fascinating, telling what had happened underneath our feet. Please do more on the areas around the Driftless area which must be very interesting.
There is another Glacier that is located just south of Garrison, MN. This Glacier came through this area 15 Thousands years ago which is just west of Mille Lacs Lake

Would you please repost the full video. I grew up in eastern MN (Pine City) and now live in north central MN (Park Rapids). The soil is very different between the two locations, and the Itasca area is much higher and drier than eastern MN. I’ve also lived in the Grand Marias area, and that is different, yet.
