Carpetbagger is a legend. Delivering us great content come rain, come shine. Even on holidays. Jacob, your videos are a joy and something I look forward to watching every day.
You never fail to entertain and educate me. Your visit to the museum of quackery reminded me of your early vlog about the "doctor" who implanted goat glands in his patients.
14:07 Like how the Minnesota Science Center has an exhibit on objects flushed down the toilet. When I was in elementary school 20 years ago, I had a friend who wanted to flush Barbie dolls down the toilet.
I wasn't sure if you were going to post today, but I'm certainly not going to complain. I'm glad I'm not the only one having flashbacks to the Great River Road trip, albeit pleasant ones. Also, whenever I get stuck in the rain, I say to myself "as sweet as I am, I'm not made of sugar, I won't melt.
I absolutely want to go here one day. It has so many different little exhibits to learn from. I think it's great you feel an emotional attachment to the Mississippi River. : ) I'm also glad hospitals have upped their tech and knowledge game so we don't have to deal with some of those crazy inventions anymore. Lol Super cool to look at. Thanks for the adventure!
Great video, Jacob. Hope you had a great 4th of July, and hopefully, the rain stopped for the fireworks. Till the next one, take care my friend and as always safe travels.
I’m glad that you got to see the statue of Herb Brooks. He was a legend during the 1980 Winter Olympics when Team USA won gold. I would LOVE for you to go back to the daily videos. I know a lot of people don’t like the daily every day videos, but it can have its pros and cons. Anyway, hope you have a great day Jacob!
Good morning Jacob, hope you had a great 4th of July & reunion. Ty for all the content. Really helps in planning a vacation since you go everywhere. Much love from OK ❤
I really enjoyed seeing your face on the giant astronaut, you took the chance to make a crazy face and went with it! The medical quackery machines were great but was surprised at the recent dates on some.
Champsosaurus wasn't quite a crocodile, but a related kind of Archosauromorph called a Choristodere. They did look and act very similarly, a crocodile-like body plan has evolved multiple times in animals, which is just a testament to how well it works. Champsosaurus is a particularly cool animal, because not only did it coexist with T. rex, but it also was one of the species that managed to survive the K-PG impactor event 66 million years ago, and live on for millions of years afterwards.
My family had one of those vibrating belt machines 😹 As kids we would sit in the belt and pretend we were in an amusement park ride 🎢😹 Great museum 🌟💖 I think it might be time for You to invest in an umbrella hat☔ since I know it would be awkward holding something in both hands at the same time when You are filming 😸 As always, Thank You for bringing Us along with You Jacob 🙏💝😻
About the Yellow Barn, Minnesota's Largest Candy Story, in Jordan on US 169, and in my experience, opinion, the US best, you are so close. We have been tracking your adventures for a couple of years by now and this highly popular Minnesota roadside attraction is about 45 minutes West of the MN Science museum. A must have for the Carpetbagger channel, a pleasure to enjoy for your audience and a pure delight for you Jacob, a promise from Reinhold and MaryJane. P.S. when you are in the Barn, the true attractions are above the candy, besides a Zoltar and a penny smasher on the floor, do I dare to mention a working animatronic band performing every five minutes. Do I need to say more? Well, maybe next time, put it on your Calendar, we promise you will not regret the inside and outside awe adults and kits alike will experience...
Jacob, just to let you know, I watch you on my laptop..Well for weeks now I can't give you a thumbs up , it's just not an option... I have to go on my phone and give the Video a thumbs up, I am a Patreon member and want you to do well as me n my Son love your videos!!
Morning Jacob 🤓📸 thanks for sharing this, hope you had a nice fourth of July yesterday, in my neighborhood u can hear the fireworks 🎇 go off near by lol they were loud. Like the museum 👍 you take care and have a good day.
Would love to see you go to The Boonshoft Museum of Discovery, The Toledo Zoo, or to Put-in-Bay the next time you're in Ohio. All have amazing and interactive museums
Awesome video! I’d forgotten how many exhibits are at the Science Museum of Minnesota. I don’t think I’ve been there in quite a long while! Hope you had a lovely 4th! 💥
Orgone energy was also attributed to weather control and this is actually referenced in the Kate Bush song and music video Cloudbusting, which features a funky weather machine similar to those created by Wilhelm Reich, mentions the name of his family farm and laboratory in the line "I still dream of Orgonon", and is said to depict the close relationship he had with his son Peter as well as his arrest and destruction of books and equipment by the FDA when he refused to stop making medical claims and shipping his machines.
You should visit the mn zoo and como Park zoo as well . I lived in the twin cities practically my whole life it was a regular thing to go there many times a month lol 😆
People laughed about the electric stuff....but I hurt my knee in the 70s. Doctor used some electrical charge thing every time I went. I don't believe it did anything.
I’m letting your whole video play (with the ads) while I do other things, then I go back and watch it and skip the ads. Yay me! Thank you for all the great trips.
