Well its an amateur talent contest so we dont know what other contestants did. I will understand your sentiment if this is a kpop cover contest and will agree they did great to be considered 1st place. Well not all people in MN knows kpop so atleast they showcased kpop to the people of MN.
@@MsAZYou I guess, i don't want to seem pushy but if I were there and didn't know about Kpop id still be voting 1st place, I mean just wonder how many groups danced with that much complexity.
@@Lydiumm dont forget other dance styles... we also have the ever famous b boy dances with crazy stunts and turns. I dont think a kpop dance would topped that.
@@soapiee the audience is not the judge and we also dont know the criteria for judging. So i dont think its racism. If it is then they wont be even considered as 3rd place if the judges are racists.
@@MsAZYou I never said it did i just said they deserved 1st place, there's no need for you to take it that serious, it was just a simple funny opinion and even though b boying is unique and cool you shouldn't say a Kpop cover would never top that bc it's just not true just like other styles could beat both Kpop and b boying.
I legit thought this was TXT at first, I was like "what are they doing at the Minnesota state fair?" . You're super good, it took me 2 while minutes to notice it wasn't them. The moves were really neat and you were super coordinated 💞💞
Hearing the fan chant and you all singing along made my heart melt and not even complaining about winning third place but instead being extremely happy and grateful❤️ Just wishing I was there
Sorry but the crowd reminded me of North Korea Reacting to Red Velvet but at least some are responsive lol 😅 But at least at the end many clapped 🤣 Edit: Pls don't take it too seriously huhu 😅 What I just meant here is that both of these audience and North Koreans doesn't know a lot about kpop that's why I find the reactions very similar and it reminded me of that video (Red Velvet's performance in NK). I apoplogize if my joke turned out to be rude 😔😔
Elijah Elkwood Fact. I am also a Minnesotan, I grew up hearing rock in roll and country music, until I was a pre-teen. I barely know kpop actually existed.
Omg congrats!!! Imagine how many people who'd never heard of K-pop there were in the crowd, and you exposed them to such a beautiful song/choreo a lot of them will become K-pop stans lmao. You danced so well too!
At first the people were like wondering what is that song. Because it's in Korean. Then later on they started to like the beat and the dance performance. You did well guys!!! TxT will be happy to see this.
you guys say they're unimpressed but a lot of them were actually smiling and enjoying themselves if you pay attention closely, it's just that the one's who aren't are always in the front T_T
YOU KNOW WHAT I LOVE SO MUCH ABOUT THIS?? Everyone started off looking confused and then just started to gape at how amazing it was and then started to smile and enjoy the performance!! It’s absolutely amazing to see that transition and acceptance
I don't think he was plugging his ears, I think he's just holding his face. He would've turn around and not watch it if he didn't like it. Even if he was plugging his ears it's probably because it a bit too loud for him maybe. I mean he even look pleased the whole time and at the end he gave them a big applause.
Ohhhh he could also be decreasing the volume of the sound so he can here the words better. Maybe he thought he was the only one here a different language and everybody else was listening to english
OmgI live in Minneapolis now and was not expecting to see kpop anywhere on a mainstream stage! Great job!!! Also I loved hearing MOA do the fan chants, so cute 🥰
I was watching this, and I'm gonna say, I'm disappointed by the audience. Seriously.... COME ON!! The dancing was so good! And the song was a great choice! Where is all the screaming? I only hear the screaming from a few people
okay but 80% of the people there looked like they: A: Didn't want to be there but were forced to because "Susan's daughter plays the piano in one of the performances." B: They didn't understand why there would be a song in a different language because they are small minded people. C: They wanted to strangle those girls screaming throughout the entire performance being the only people giving their support. D: Just a bunch of Karen's and Chads.
though crowd tough crowd (the people sitting) , but you guys killled it !! when i saw someone who enjoyed it among all those karens lmfao i was soo happy, you guys were soo amazing
