One of the biggest things with Darnold , is most of his career has been with terrible O Lines. 27th-29th rank in NY, 31st both years in Car Last year 18th in SF, although their scheme system helps boost that number up to protect them( do have Trent Williams amongst meh) So he is coming into a much better O line here ...
In Sam Darnolds' first 50 NFL starts he was sacked 133 times then add in how many times he was pressured. Pretty hard for any QB to play well under those conditions.
How old is Linval Joseph? It seems like the man has been in the league forever! 😂 But our defensive line do need someone like him to shore up the run game. We need the Williams Wall type of D-line in the middle to stuff the run.
He will be 36 in October, he only plays a handful of snaps in a season now(36 snaps) as a depth guy. Loved him when he was here. Our run stop may be decent this year
And yes, I still don't get the hype surrounding the Bears. I can't wait till the season starts and laugh my butt off when they start losing games that counts. 🤣

Yes, they drafted a QB who many thinks will be the next Mahomes but he's still a rookie this season and once the real games starts, he'll struggle. Also, the Bears has screw up two of their top QB picks in the past and those two are no longer with the team. I'm sure you and many fans of the Bears believe Williams will be different but I'll believe it when it happen.

Wilson was ass in both Pitt and Denver, but he'll ball out here? Doesn't matter how good your WRs are if your QB can't see them or hit them when he does.
This Russell Wilson crap shouldn't bother but it is. Like it's legitimately making me mad. I don't care what you think of Darnold. The expectations are not high, what happens is what happens. We truly don't know what we'll get until we see it. We KNOW what Wilson is...he's washed. He's trash. Payton and company cut him BEFORE his extension even kicked in. They felt better off eating the dead money and paying 38 million of his contract than keeping him on the roster. This is not Russell Wilson of 8 years ago. Right now, this moment, he is arguably the worst QB in the league.
I have to admit that Id love to see what Wilson could do in our offense. There is no way Id pay serious money to see it, but Im pretty curious to see what would happen. I also dont think Cine's problem is being behind some great safeties, I think is problem is he just isnt that good.
Kirk 4-4 was on pace for nearly 5000 yds Mullins on pace for 4400 yds Finished season 5th in passing , 10 offence overall Kirk half a season, JJ missed 7 gms, a running game 29th in the league......so we'll be in the 4400 passing range plus a better run team..........and out defence looks better Just saying😉
Darnold will be impressive for 2 to 4 games. All his other starts here will vary from mediocre to awful. Sorry guys, he's been a trash qb for 6 years. He'll be trash here too. That being said theres no reason to trade for Wilson.
