Peter Beets and Stochelo Rosenberg (Rosenberg Trio) performed a tribute to the founding father of the Gypsy Jazz, Django Reinhardt. This was recorded at the North Sea Jazz Club in Amsterdam.
I saw Peter and Stochelo last sunday in Leusden (the Netherlands), in probable the best setting i ever saw! It was amazing! Gypsy Jazz guitar with fabulous piano will bring you back to the last years of Django's life. It is what Peter told us; when will Stochelo take the electric guitar (like Django did) and record the final Django tunes? I hope they will do that together with the also amazing Frans van Geest en Martin Limberger.

The bassist looks like Marius Beets, but the info at the top states that this is the Rosenberg Trio with Peter Beets. Is Marius now part of the Rosenberg Trio?
