Minor Threat - Salad Days (bass cover) 

God their writing got SO good on both Out of Step and Salad Days. It was great to begin with but the complexities, crazy arrangements, harmonic ideas.. just badass

Love it! I get this song going through my head so often and not just for the context for which it was written. "Too many voices, they've made me mute." is applicable to so many spaces in my life.

Great stuff, would love to hear just the bass, small detail I think Brian Baker played bass on Salad Days, since Steve (which is an amazing bass player on the Out Of Step EP) was already out of band when they recorded this.

Tone is dam there dead on! Nice. These Cats were so much better than almost any other Punk HC band. I grew up on all this stuff but was 7 in 83 when minor threat broke up. Clearly I got to experience Fugazi, but getting back into playing bass and being a drummer my whole life I just have to assume that the bad brains were so blown away by Minor Threat and clearly they loved the bad brains. I also often forget that Brian Baker played bass in minor threat. I never forget that he was in minor threat but I often forgot that he was the bass player. Now that I’m learning bass again I listen to think again last night for the first time in a few years and watched a bass cover and my God that is phenomenal songwriting. We’re talking like the Beatles of hard-core! Black Flag, MT, bad brains, Circle Jerks and DK were untouchable in my book.
