I’m not here to “ship” people I know nothing about but let’s talk hypothetically. If this whole Minsung thing isn’t just a brilliant marketing ploy, if it is as real as it seems to be - they might be the only ones out there with a chance of coming out and surviving. Han is literally part of the 3RACHA with other two members being Minsungs biggest supporters. This fact already has it’s own power to guide the situation to success. Their leader is someone who lives to make his members happy, and will fight tooth and nail to keep it that way. He brought Minho back, showing his influence over the entire Company. He won’t let anything happen to the core. Plus, he’s Aussie raised with high drive for respect, aka probably wouldn’t be as fazed by the “queerness” of the situation as some might be in that environment. Playful queerness sells, real queerness is sticky. Chan doesn’t seem like the guy who’d let “stickiness” win over “rightness”. Lastly, they have their audience GROOMED. They’re so clever with the entire group’s intimacy, and letting them play into Minsung roles a touch more as years went on has reduced the shock value to practically 0. Now it’s their playground. Come out, don’t - people won’t go anywhere. But they actually have a fighting chance if they do. And boy what a moment in history would it be if they did.

Also jisung Said on bubble that he wrote the song a while ago but thought it would suit Lino’s voice perfectly. Keep in mind Han said before that Minho is quite the romantic. The whole song is also soooo queer coded! Like I feel like Hans love songs often are like this, he talks a lot about loving someone being a sin or it being viewed negatively by other. I guess it can also be because of how idols need to hide their love life but as someone who is QUEER (I mean myself) those songs rlly speak to me

I think antis don't understand how naive it is to think idols don't fall for their group members. Not only is it the entertainment industry, iykyk, but think about it: They are only around each other, allllll the time. They went through the phases of figuring what love is to them only around each other. Their family AND romantic love maps are centered solely around each other. They're constantly traveling together, performing together, receiving fan love together. Some will be friends/brothers, some will be more. Group members falling for each other has happened before, its happening now, and will keep happening. They're only human and we should be supportive.

Personally, I'm still super happy that they've released this BRILLIANT Skz-Record and Han has done a little Q&A on his Bubble and still no concrete confirm or deny. It's awesome. I hope they never outright explain themselves. They're living their best life and are protected in a way by being so public, however they are deciding to define and carry out their closeness.

Ngl, if they are fanservice WOW, literally it's the biggest fanservice I would ever see, and normally it isn't that big. A big example taekook, they were of course friends and fanservice a lot of times, but minsung hits different, bc at least Taehyung said that it wasn't like that way or it wasn't real a couple of times. But here, they just keep telling us it's real without saying it directly lmao. Still we don't know until they say it directly, but let's not have that much faith on them.

It's sweet but also sad that they have to be conscious about their relationship. Most people still think they're just friends, teasing each other like any idols do, and I also prefer not to conclude without confirmation or solid proof. However, I can't deny these feelings either. In the whole K-pop scene, they're the ones who caught my attention the most, and unknowingly, I became fond of them. If it's true, imagine the pressure of keeping their relationship secret; it must be suffocating at some point. I hope that if they're actually together, people show support instead of backlash when they come out. The lyrics are romantic and sounds like confession-portraying an upbeat love song with underlying sadness-love brings happiness, but there are consequences of sadness. Honestly my exact reaction on the first time I listen to "Want So Bad" together with the album cover photo I thought MINSUNG is finally coming out. I was really shocked and I thought they are confirming their relationship cause the track cover photo with those Minsung collage screams "couple". But even after realising and sinking in that it is just a normal collab/duet of Lee Know and Han, the song and the lyrics is still like a song ment to be said with each other. The song is about them like seriously🥹

Yeah, but it's important to note thst the company has power over which songs are released. They wouldn't have uploaded this song if it wouldn't boost the group's sales and popularity. My guess is that this is just a really genius marketing strategy. As another comment said, performative queerness sells, real queerness is very messy. Even when Seungmin fuelled the fire with his "Han and Lee Know are getting married", there was no outrage from anyone, especially Han, who popped up on Seungmin's birthday live. I agree. it's almost like they are purposely toning down the minsung content, or at least the opportunities for them to be. the lineup changed and they generally aren't put next to each other any more, is what ive noticed. I miss seeing han and lee know together so much. but, too, THEY could have asked to not be filmed together so they could just enjoy each other's company without having to worry about the camera. or maybe the staff are just cutting it out for some reason. I love them so much and I'm so glad they have each other. whether it's platonic or romantic love. I've missed your videos so thanks for taking the time to put this together. I agree completely with everything you said, the whole thing is soooooo Minsung coded. About the lack of Minsung Minsunging the last few months I have been wondering if they were told to tone it down after the end of the Maniac Tour cos they were wilding then! Also, as we know, our Hannie wasn't feeling the greatest during the 5 Star comeback so I think everything was maybe more subtle due to that as well. I've noticed the last few weeks, as his condition seems to have improved dramatically, that Minsung moments have started to increase again as well. eg. SKZ Code Family and Baseball episodes have had some cute moments and the interview when Lee Know said he liked "Everything" about Han. And now this gorgeous song! My personal perspective on this, is that Minsung’s relationship itself, whether it’s platonic or not, is 100% genuine. But I also do think that what we’ve mostly seen (especially in concerts) does look like pure fan services. The company probably saw fans’ reaction towards them and tell them to double down on their interactions. Between these two, figuring Han is much harder than LK. With LK it’s pretty obvious, everything he does screams ‘i like Han’. From the way he treat Han differently than the others, how he stares directly into Han’s eyes and smiles (I’ve never seen any straight person, be it irl or social media, do this to same sex friend and not be weirded out), or how he just looks at camera when members are talking/interview but he would look at Han when he’s speaking. What seal the deal and practically confirms it for me is when i noticed that LK is mostly quiet and just listening when they do something like interview/Q&A/2kids series (other than when he’s mc-ing ofc), but become really active and talkative when Han is the topic. If this turn out to be purely 100% fan services, then mad respect to them, i don’t think there’s any other platonic partners that can top this. But of course, at the end of the day, none of that matters. As long as they’re both happy with whatever path they’re taking, that’s all i care about.
