I'm confused. This is one of the funkiest versions of this song going around so not sure what people are complaining about? And whats the point of releasing a Christmas album if not at Christmas time? Love the album. Congrats on the Grammy nomination. MC for life!

This rendition is crazy good. Chord transition starting at 3:08 is just sick. He knew what he was doing to me when he did that. That's why he just holds it there giving it to me long and good. Great musicianship!

+Duncan Greig greig It's a christmas album, and it's a pretty damn good album if you ask me. Don't worry if you're a true Minthead, the funk will be there for the next MC record as well. Love this one by the way.

+tyvianc no offence intended tyvianc , I may be guilty of over reaction, the band are sublime as always , and as you say a great xmas record , but a slightly cynical record company release in October . its too early !!. love to mintheads worldwide .. be great to see the boys in London sometime soon .. don't forget us ...peace and mintness at Christmas !!

I understand because to be honest with you, when Keri Lewis left the group, their sound did change a little and I was always getting let down from the last three albums that were done ""E-Life" "7" and "Music At The Speed Of Life" I couldn't believe that I was suffering from those albums and to be honest, Stokley has been reserved in holding back on hitting those high notes. but I do agree that the christmas album is a little early, but I still like it anyway.

For all of the cynics and over-reactors, this album was nominated for a GRAMMY for best R&B album... Mint Condition is a band who can play ANYTHING!!! Whatever your favorite genre of music, they do not disappoint... Congratulations and blessings to them... :-)
