Hahaha It's a no for me. However, this doesn't mean I wouldn't recommend it. In fact I have recommended Mint Mobile to many of my friends. Next time I'll put a time stamp in for where my personal opinion is, so you don't have to watch it!

Basically pay what you get lol sounds like it's trash unless your a prepaid customer normally and used those speeds lol.

It is what I recommend the most for people who are looking to save money, but not a good option for those who travel.

The carrier MINT may still be good if you're traveling. Depending on which locations. Cell service on a stretch of about thousand miles or more, through rural, urban , and wilderness seemed good most of the time.

I have done a lot of traveling with Mint while doing mission work, and I have noticed that some states are better then others. I have been to a couple states that have struggled when traveling their rural areas. However, like you said, there are some areas and states where it was great for travel and I had no issues!

Enjoying the service a lot. I came from ATT prepaid, verizon post/pre, and Visible. There's been no difference in the network and a lot of times I have better speed on mint than I ever did on verizon post paid. My only gripes are the 480p streaming on the unlimited and the hard throttle to 2g after after 35GB. Should at least include 720p streaming and cap the speed to 10Mbps after the limit. Most people probably wont ever use that much so its a great service still. I'll definitely be renewing for the 12 month plan after my 3 months.

You get unlimited 2g speeds for any plan. It should be go for some basic text based website or some using music streaming. (I believe most t-mobile mnvos as well).

You do indeed get unlimited 2g speeds on any plan! Its nice, because you will never have any overage fees!

@@ReverendCellular Yeah , I said the before but I believe most T-Mobile mnvos (tello I believe). I don’t know the speeds though is it the higher spectrum of 2g (256kbps) or the lower spectrum speeds (64kbps) if you now any thing about please tell me. I think as of a few years ago 128kbps which should be fine for music streaming (low Apple Music settings) and maybe a small low quality (like 144p to maybe at most 360p) video (RU-vid had a site for flip phones since 2006 , but you needed something with a unlimited 2g plan from like virgin wireless I think 3g was around as it came out in 1998 but probably like 5G of a few years ago). Still a very nice feature and considering you can pretty much stream Apple Music or Spotify even when you’re high speed data runs out (I think on Apple Music the 256kbps uses 1gb of data for every 8 hours of streaming and the reduces 100-128kbps steam will use around 1 gb for 16 hours of music streaming). Also nice video maybe do a update video soon. Also if you do plan on making a video on it wait a week or two , mint mobile for the last 3 years (since 2019) have deals , and more around super bowl time (last year was all plans getting extra data , 3g getting 4gb , 8gb plan going to 10gb ,etc).

@@nicholasbrooks7349 Thank you for all the great information and great ideas! I will definitely do my best to keep you posted on all things Mint. You are right, both Mint and Tello offer unlimited data at 2g speeds when you hit your data allotment. This isn't true for all T-Mobile plans, but it is true for most of them!

At 2g speeds you can't do much.

@@elouise5593 agreed, but like I said, the real benefit is not getting overage fees.

They keep advertising the $15 per month, but after so many months, it goes up to $25 per month unless you pay for the whole year in advance.
@ReverendCellular
@ReverendCellular 2 года назад
They start with introduction pricing, where you get the lowest cost for 3 months. It is a great way to test the network. However they then change it to having to pay the whole year in advance for that $15 rate. Posting annually is a great way for them to save money, and they pass that saving back on to you!

How do I tell how much gigabytes a month use average?
@ReverendCellular
@ReverendCellular 2 года назад
A great way to find out your average GB usage is to reach out to your cellular provider. Some companies also have online accounts or mobile apps that allow you to follow your data usage from month to month. These are great ways to figure out how much data you need.

Absolutely agree with you! I have recommended Mint to many of my friends who are lower data users! They are very happy with Mint and have no complaints!

Also is the equipment a “router” or do I have to buy one to make mint mobile work?
@ReverendCellular
@ReverendCellular 2 года назад
There is no equipment you need to use Mint Mobile. The only thing you need is a sim card, which will be sent to you for free when you sign up for their service. They also have an eSim option if you are an iPhone user.

How does a vpn help? Does the vpn help with better internet connection overall when traveling? Thank you!
@ReverendCellular
@ReverendCellular 2 года назад
What a vpn does is mask your online activities and location. How this can help your cellular service, is that it also masks your activities from your cellular provider. This means that they will not know when you are watching a video online, and will be unable to cap your speed. Meaning that if you are on a plan that streams at 480p. Normally most providers will give you access to high enough data speeds to actually stream videos at a higher rate then that, but when they see you are watching a video, they will cap and reduce your speed so you are unable to watch video at higher then 480p. The vpn protects you from your cellular provider receiving that information, so you can continue to watch your videos at higher qualities. I hope this helped!!

@@vonblitz3832 thank you so much for your support. And it's all good, I know people won't like my content and I'm okay with that. As long as 1 single person enjoys it, then I'm happy. The world has billions of people in it, and there is no way to make every single person like me. I get that, so if someone voices their dislike for me, I accept it, that's their right and opinion and I will not stop or block someone for that. If they ever want, I don't mind helping them find a different RU-vidr who they will like way more then me. At the end of the day I just want everyone to be happy.

Mint Mobile referral is scam, also customer service bad
@ReverendCellular
@ReverendCellular 2 года назад
I would love to know why you think that!! Is it due to the unreliable nature of their link? This is an issue I have discussed, as it does frustrate me as well. All the best wishes to you!
