Christmas Oreo Truffles for the win! Yum, quick, easy treat for your next holiday party! I got this recipe from a business in town during their annual holiday treat stroll!
Mint Oreo Truffles
1 ( 15.25 oz) package of Mint Creme Oreos
8 oz softened cream cheese
12 oz high quality semi-sweet chocolate
Optional: sprinkles or green candy melts
Pulse whole package of Oreos in a food processor and pulse until crumbs form. Mix Oreos and softened cream cheese until combined. Form into 30-35 balls and place on parchment paper then freeze for about 30 minutes. Melt the chocolate (chop up chocolate if needed, then melt, we used a double boiler to melt chocolate). Roll balls into chocolate, then pick up with a fork and tap off excess chocolate on side of bowl, decorate with sprinkles or colored candy melts if desired. Once all balls are covered in chocolate, place back in fridge for about 10 minutes to set chocolate. Always chill truffles, and they are good for about 5 days.
