Yes, unlike with Doki we don't know what she had to endure, she doesn't speak about it, we only know she missed some opportunities she would have loved to have, she most likely was quite traumatized from it and gladly got helped overcome it :)

Shes like noticeably happier nowadays than when she first came back. She has some really good friends and a really supportive community that will bsck her no matter what she decides to do.
I never believed that she was only going to do it for summer, but had to wait for her to come to that same conclusion. It was just too obvious that she was enjoying streaming.

I'd be lying if I were to say that I don't miss our time with the fairy. The inside jokes between her and chat, the running gags, the slow descent into metal gear brain rot, the general vibe of the community back then.. But none of that would've been possible without Mint, and at the end of the day, we all tune in for the person behind the model and not the model itself. So I, like many others who were fans of the fairy, will continue to tune in and support the person who brought us all those fun memories. If she keeps streaming, I'll keep watching.

Honestly, I’m glad I found her again. It’s a real little miracle for me and I enjoy every moment when I can. She is one of the most adorable vtubers I know and it’s always a pleasure to follow her streams.

Streamers have two critical types of "energy": money and mental strength. If either runs out, you can't stream. I don't think Mint knows for sure if this thing (this type of streaming) or another thing refills those energies. So I just hope she gets there, and I'll also enjoy seeing her around for now.
Money is the Easy Part. the Mental strength is the HARDEST cause its all about ENDURANCE if she wants to continue streaming or not. its very hard as a Vtuber to Keep it CONSISTANT for those who are introverted like mint.
In my eyes, she's still one of the best entertainer that this platform has to offer. She's amazingly funny, silly, cute, kind, a great singer, unhinged and an unapologetic perv. The most perfect formula for every stream to be a blast from beginning to end. We really can't force her to stick around just because she brighten our days, the struggles she faces (whether it be personal, about streaming or her own future) might be to much to bare for a single person. Whatever she decides, and as long as her heart allows it, I'll support her 100% and hopefully the community feels the same way.
We will love her regardless of her decision, but even if she streams just once in a while it would make a lot of us (and hopefully her too) a lot happier!

On top of obviously her general insecurities (which by this point are obviously incredibly unfounded) I did get a suspicion that maybe, with her idol dream and all, that she may have been considering trying out for Hololive and her being unsure how long she's gonna be Mint was dependant on if she got in or not. Now, other then a few weirdos and antis I'm sure most of us would be happy for her if that's what she wanted to do, but I for one will be a fan of hers regardless. She was pretty much the only one in "heaven" I consistently watched and ill continue whether it's Mint or some new character in Hololive, or whatever else she wants to do. this is why i wish big vtuber companies would let talents own their own identity similar to how the music industry is. Like when an artist leaves to another label, they don't change their name and shit. The whole changing name and all that stuff just to re debut under another name is kinda redundant when folks care more about the talent than the persona.
@@MostlyDrew i think that's why a lot of people call vtubing just "anime professional wrestling" because when you're a "small indie" you obviously have something you're know for, but when you join a big label, you're made to come up with a new identity. Daniel Byran was Bryan Danielson for example, and there are some cases in holo where you could say that the "disguise" is paper thin. Roara being the most recent example off the top of my head.
I think this is the most likely reason. There are only a few opportunities that tie your tongue this much. However, I have a different theory that competes with it that I think is just as possible. "The Existential Panic of Having too Many Choices in a Short Amount of Time!" Something like that.
As a big Holo fan I was really hoping she’d come over, but unfortunately I don’t think the timing was there (regardless of whether or not she applied). No matter what the future holds though, I hope she finds a path she loves. That’s the important thing. And if she chooses to stick around, that’s great because it’s always a joy watching her stream.

If the doubts she’s having are at all because of her experiences being under the rainbow, then that’s truly upsetting. Not just for her, but also for the others still in that position. It just seems to not be as nice as we once thought. Highly competitive, no support from superiors, having to claw and fight your way up while stepping on others to elevate yourself. I’m glad she’s out of it now, but she still seems to not understand her self worth. Once again, if a large part of that is because of what she went through there, then my perception of that rainbow has absolutely turned black. Such a spirited and amazing person crushed under the weight of a group who squeezed her for all she’s worth to them, while denying her opportunities. My heart aches for any still under that influence.
to be honest, most Vtubers have this Self Worth Issue whether they're popular or not. i dont know why they kept Beating themselves down even tho they got ALOT OF SUPPORT of people. its not like their dreams will not come True just by being INDIE or being Denied by some companies. they can stilll make it by doing CONECTIONS and networking and hope those companies Reached out like Mint for her Dreams Come True no matter how Small she is worth. if anything, she could've just Follow Doki's Example where her dreams is already achieved in a short amount of time. if Doki can do it, SO CAN MINT.
I'm glad that the lots and lots and lots of people she spoke with, also the lots and lots and lots of messages she read, as well as the lots and lots and lots of love she recieves, are all helping her realise that she wants to stay 💚. I sometimes really wish Minto could she herself through our eyes to know just how appreciated and loved she is. I'd be more than happy if she keeps streaming so long as she continues to enjoy doing as much. I really felt a lot of regret not spending what i felt as not enough time watching/chatting before so I'd love to soak up as much of my oshi and chat more with the community than before so i don't have the same regrets. 💚

I've been watching RU-vid since the beginning of it early inception. From what I've learned is content creators don't especially after becoming successful "making money" go back to a regular 9-5 job. You now oum a successful business and don't have anyone higher than you that can make decisions or boss you around. I'm glad she's staying she deserves the success but unless a content creator messes up big time and are forced to leave the Internet they won't give up that privilege.
I didn't have much doubt as she's clearly passionate about streaming and enjoys it. But, I do wonder if there's something else she wants to do that makes her say "I don't know for how much longer." One that takes up too much time to stream. If it's just because she worries about the support and fans, then I don't think she has too much to worry about. As long as she's having fun, I don't think anyone would suggest she'd stop.
I'm just talking out my ass but I feel like the great reception she got on her main just doing whatever she wanted probably helped her a lot in wanting to stick around. It was so funny but also nice how popular her random posts got.

The model is only an illusion, it’s the person behind it that people choose to stay. In my opinion, that is the most important thing that company fails to realize to this day. It isn’t about the merchandise or performances, but the talents themselves that people are there for. The audience always reflects the streamer. If the streamer is happy and enjoying themselves then it’s the same with their community. But if the streamer is stressed and depressed then it is not only them that suffers, but their community suffers as well. When Mint left the company, her community followed her and they will continue to support her no matter what she chooses to do.
It must have been/is a bunch of conflicting concerns on her part. Firstly, is it sustainable? As in, now that she is indie, can she actually afford to keep streaming (ik it's an unsavory topic for some, but it is a real thing you need to consider). Secondly, the fallout of her previous company. I.e., how that all not only affected her personally, but whether or not it has an impact on her career. And lastly, her previous persona. I.e., fearing that people where there for the fairy and not the person behind her. I think/hope she is realizing that her community genuinely love her for her. The chaotic energy she brings, and uncanny ability to brighten people's days. I hope she stay's for as long as she feels comfortable. She got me into vtubing, and it's always a blast to watch her streams.
The start of this year was quite the sh*t show for everything related to Vtubing so I'm glad the vibe or I guess atmosphere is slowly healing back to what it once was.
