My boi Markus is back from college and this is one of many projects he's bringing back to Texas to finish. -1986 C10 -Blueprint-Motors 383 Stroker -700r4 Transmission -Sniper Efi
You should keep the torque converter locked when doing pulls or putting heavy load on the trans, otherwise it’s just burning up and slipping clutches, I learned the hard way
Nice man I have similar one but mines is a 350 with the th350 I also have the Snipper I have not driven it yet due to transmission is out. I would like to add the stroker into it though
@@c10central57 yeah a mild small block is gonna make more than that stock. If you are just wanting a toy and not wanting to get every bit of fuel mileage out of it then I would say build a 350/383/400 and you will make as much as the ls would without the trouble of making things fit and work. If you are wanting something that’s gonna get the best fuel mileage then that vortec would probably be the best option but do keep in mind no matter what you do these trucks are built like bricks and won’t get good mileage either way 😂
@@yamahaguy1732 Very true😂 I feel like it’s gonna explode every time I drive it. My dad has a 2006 Avalanche and it drives well with that engine so I’m kinda familiar with it. And my grandpa has a 350 big block in his square body and it is TUFF
@@MichaelCowhow’s that 700r4 holding up I have one in my smc swapped s10 and it’s trash just slips gears under load. I hate the 700r I want to swap to a turbo 350
