Every time I come back to this specific performance, I wish that over the years since finding out about them 14 years ago I had went to see them live. I had so many opportunities and I just could never make it; either I was working, some girl I was with didn't like their music, or some dumb excuse. Life is short. Thankful this performance is on RU-vid and I could always come see it.

if I've learned anything in life, if someone invites you to a concert you go with them. If they've invited you its because the band is important enough you want to go see them and its important to them that they share it with you. If your girl doesn't want to go to a concert with you and you don't make her go to concerts that often, fuck that.

Two things: 1. You're totally justified in regretting not seeing them live. I'm fortunate my circle of friends introduced me to their music and invited me to several Minus the Bear shows. They play with incredible emotion and enthusiasm, whether it's a song like Diamond Lightening that sweeps you away, or one of their fun songs that energizes you. They always create a great set list and their light shows are amazing. 2. Keep hope alive that they will do a reunion tour. They're all still young enough to do another tour, and I think performing live is in their DNA. The audience is still there, and I think they know it. So I wouldn't be surprised to see them announce a reunion tour within the next 10 years. That's all just my speculation, granted. I don't think they quit because they were sick of it. I think they were just content with the work they've done (rightfully so) and ready to start a new chapter of their lives. I don't expect they'll come back full time, but I do expect a reunion tour at some point, even if they don't make another album.

I literally only seen them live one time and it was the farewell tour meet & greet. Listen to them all throughout high school lots and lots of memories when I hear this song specifically. Reminds me of my best friend that past a way a few years back this was the summer jam for years !

The man gives you his honest feelings, between sets, and you shit on him because you think that shit ain't a real job? Sounds like you need to stare out the window of a bus or van for hours on end, eating little to nothing, playing for fuel and shit, then say it isn't worth a mans salt. Every man is entitled to his fucking sorrow, no matter how little you as a person validates it.
