(Super Mario Bros.) - took me a bit, but your answer to Adarn in the pinned comment replies helped me out with this one 2:47 - Wing/Vanish Cap (Super Mario 64) - also pretty simple (mario is missing also did this bit lmao but I don't blame you, it's really fitting) 2:57 - Starman (Super Mario Bros.) - does this count as one of the references? if so... thought you were being sneaky huh? (used multiple times during the Toadstool.nes and MGS-3 sections) 3:51 - Underwater (Super Mario Bros.) - I don't think I've seen anyone use this theme in one of these remixes! Took me a long while to figure this one out, props to you man (used multiple times during the MGS-2 and MGS-3 sections) 5:16 - The Grand Finale (Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story) - oh FUCK YEAH!!!! this is the GOOD SHIT right here ...That only makes 6 (5 if you count the Wing Cap and Starman themes as one reference (tbf Wing Cap _is_ based on the Starman theme)). 5:49 has the highest likelihood of being a reference, but I'm having difficulty figuring out what it might be. I'm thinking potentially SMB's Castle Theme, but it could easily just be another section of Grand Finale. I've been listening to this on loop the past couple of days, but this is all I can think of.
I have to say, this is a REALLY good take on Triple Trouble Mario Mix! Bowser caught me off guard with his vocals but I was able to get used to it. And I REALLY like the designs, they look really great! And fit the theme while still sticking to nes Mario. You should work on Mario Mix.
Thanks for the kind words! Bowser does sound odd, yes, but it's hard to make a chromatic out of GWAAAAAR and GRAAAAHHHH The designs were originally by me, and redid by my good friend MamaDoomsday (his yt is in the desc) And as for mario mix? You bet I wanna work on it with some talented people

Ok, I legit Just found this triple trouble super mario bros mix and I have got to say... Gosh DANG DUDE, is this honestly such a frickin bop to listen to all the way through like damn, and huge props for the dude in the description because I love the cool looking sprites he did, along with the editing and the dope thumbnail as well.

What does MGS stand for? Awesome mix btw. Just in Luigi’s part and it’s already a banger. I had an idea for a Minus World exe but never expanded on it so I’m glad to see someone else had the same idea! Luigi doesn’t sound like him at all but it’s surprisingly a good voice. Good job!
I really enjoy this, only 2 gripes I have are that you could’ve changed a bit more in the first mario part, and bowser’s voice can use some work, but then again I see why he sounds like that due to one of your replies

Hey! Nice work! But the happy tune in the start absolutely kills the vibe of the start of the Luigi section. It should be fixed if you put in the underground song instead tho.
i think it works okay in the _very start_ but with how often its used later, yeah, it's really off-kilter. maybe transposing it to minor key instead could help, instead of the underground? (or just... removing its uses later on, i guess.) wouldn't wanna put too much work on 'em though
Fun fact in the instruction manuel for the game this is based on The blue bowser is apparently "bowsers twin brother" So this mix as a matter afact does not include bowser
why does almost every Mario version of triple trouble replace the drowning section with the drowning section but it just goes up more either way, I would criticise how the characters are predictable (ig peach is a kinda uncommon pick) but it’s based on Mario 1 and the only other character in Mario 1 is Toad, so, I’ll give it a pass. Bowsers chromatics the only issue I’d say, kinda unreadable but I’d rather have it than the overused as hell Funk Mix chromatic. But doesn’t matter there’s an in the finale reference 10/10.
@@bugboi9858 I guess so, you win this. The thing is with making the drowning motif persist, (kinda) it doesn’t really sound like the hurry up chime and it just goes up with the key of the Hurry Up! motif. But I really should have noticed that detail. Thanks for the correction.
