It's not that I don't like your contributors/presenters, but I find this new style of switching between real-life-human and cartoon-drawings, that I have now seen on a few videos, to be a bit jarring. I would prefer the old style of complete cartoon-drawings with voice-over, or you should probably go the full SciShow route. In general, I prefer the pictures-with-voice-over for these kinds of topics, like RealEngineering, CaspianReport, CGPGrey, Drachinifel, Namexplain, Atlas Pro, Ben G Thomas.
@@irispark1381 I know many parts of the earth can reach these low temperatures. I was referring to the _average_ of -18° over a whole year, and that's not quite as common, and I thought Siberia was the closest place where people actually live.
Where I live, I feel like I’m the only one who takes the isolation thing seriously. When it’s sunny outside, dozens of families with children gather on playgrounds and such with seemingly zero regard for social distancing
5:13 Speaking of ozone, something that teachers and other educators often neglect to tell their students: O3, better known as *ozone* Ozone is the "bleach-like" odour that you can smell just before it rains. It is created by the interaction of oxygen and ultraviolet light, plus electrical discharges from a lightening storm. You may not have known what the smell was, but you've always noticed it when a thunderstorm is on the way. O3 is electrically charged oxygen (O2 plus an additional oxygen molecule)
@@m0k9 The world gets a new born kid on an average of 6 seconds, and even if they were the "exact same moment", there SHOULD be a time difference between each kid, its impossible to do such a thing at the exact same moment.
My favorite theory for the faint young sun paradox is more solar storms, as this would also prevent complex multicellular life and might explain why it took so long to develop.
It's quite jarring to finally see the people behind the animations. Like, i imagined you to always be this nondescript 2 dimensional stick figure and now you suddenly popped in this 3rd dimension and I'm a little freaked out!
I never knew RU-vid allows to show different tracks in one video. Also I'm sorry if this is bad or something but your voice doesn't need a face and you are hot as earth's core :)
