What a beautiful mandala in honour of that beautiful young man, so sad, it's just a tragedy. I too never miss a moment to tell my children how much I love then and how proud I am of them. My heart certainly goes out to the young man's family.

Thank you for sharing your story today. I lost my son about a year ago, and my heart goes out to his family. Military service is such an honor.

This is a lovely Mandala....I am so very sorry for the loss of those young marines. My heart feels heavy for the families, life will never be the same for them again. I mentioned earlier that my son died on Feb 3rd a few years ago at the age of 33, leaving behind a wife and 3 months old baby girl, it was a motor vehicle accident. I share this because I feel the pain that such a loss brings and I am so so sorry. I will keep you and the families in my prayers, Hugs.

I cannot imagine your pain. And the empathy you must have for every mother who is in this situation. My heart breaks for anyone that has lost a child. Big hugs to you.

What a beautiful mandala. Thanks for sharing about Miguel. My heart goes out to the families of all those marines. My son is a pilot so I have a real love for all who fly and travel in aircraft. Also my dad was in the Army so I am an Army BRAT and know the military life well.

I think it’s such a close-knit community in military families. And they understand sacrifice, risk, and loss more than others.

I heard about the helicopter crash in San Diego. So sad. Love the analogy of your thought in making this. I will always remember when I look at out. Thank you for sharing!
