Sneha has come here only to praise and acknowledge the interviewee. I wish she did the same for most of them that come on the show. There is clearly a bias here and it's annoying when journalists cannot keep it agnostic.

I would have believed her till what she said near the end. She said I was misunderstood… but said I didn’t know how important it is to work and have your own identity. So at the time of her statement, she actually hadn’t had that realization and believed women shouldn’t work but take care of their kids only. So people actually understood her correctly… she thinks its about time she is forgiven BUT she never asked for said forgiveness.

The interview felt like a brand promotion. I understand she is a woman entrepreneur and all and good for her, but let her brand atleast get established, get the customer reviews and see if the brand is a success or another PR stunt like Kriti Sanon’s brand ‘Hyphen’, which boasts of being a skin care brand but is just another cosmetic brand without enough percentage of active ingredients to help solve the problem. I genuinely was bored during this interview, didn’t think it was engaging enough or I had some interesting insights. Sorry but not a fan of brand promotions like this from film companion. I understand you guys are a start-up but not sure of this adds a value in anyway in the way atleast film companion’s other content does.

I think she needs to take an approach like Deepika, where she brings her co-owner to chat with the person interviewing. She seems quite clueless about the business side of it.. When she spoke of tretinoin, it isn't an active agent that is naturally available in most products. It is "harsh" and it literally has a purging period for the skin. Shr needs to get the experts with her, if she wants effective promotion.

I am a proud & ambitious working mom and I want to thank Mira for saying that "managing home and kids is also WORK". Women are having full-time jobs, contributing financially at home by paying an equal share of bills as their husbands and also take primary responsibility of house management and child duties. However, the latter are not valued and taken for granted. Women who are earning lesser than their husbands and sometimes taking a backseat in career & compensation growth in favour of having more flexibility to devote time for home and kids need to be acknowledged for that sacrifice and loss of pay. Apart from this, agree with all the comments saying that FC should not interview non-film people.
I thought this platform was about reviewing films? Since when has it become otherwise? I appreciate Shahid Kapoor as an actor and the public is respectful of his family. But I don't understand why his wife is being interviewed on a movie review platform. Initially i started watching this episode because i was curious and thought maybe she featured in a film but she is talking about a business venture totally unrelated to films. So i truly don't understand what's the concept of Film Companion anymore ...
Having said that, Kudos to her that she is working towards concrete business ventures. It is great that she is empowering herself and trying to be an inspiration to her children. I just thought it'd be better for her to promote her products on another platform which are more suited for that kind of endorsement. All power to her.

That whole backlash could've been avoided or at least not given further attention if she had simply stated she married young and priorities are stay at home mom. Also, that's her decision taken after considering many things. Public can easily understand that, even if they don't nobody would overreact. So obviously that happened to a point that she got affected.

Why is a Film related channel interviewing a Skin Care brand? This is really disappointing especially coming from Film Companion. If you want to mix it up a bit then at least bring the “entrepreneurial side of an actor” to the table. Many of our actors have their own brands like Katrina Kaif, Kriti Sanon etc. Why Mira Kapoor? What credibility does she have to be on a Film related channel?
I know Sneha is a Producer and is looking for all possible avenues to make money. Even the views and engagement on such interviews will generate income for the channel. But I feel such a dull content will only be met with a lot of backlash in the future. It is sad to watch this on Film Companion of all places! 😢
Women need not do everything and it's ok to not be a supermom. I am definitely not one of them. I take my breaks from my career when juggling just becomes too much for me. I can't do it all, even if I have probably the most supportive husband. Women have always their brain full of thoughts and juggling life and career can get overwhelming at times.

FC has interviewed many influencers and content creators over the years who have not acted beyond Instagram and RU-vid. This coming at Mira is not good when she is so graceful and intelligent. Yes FC should make a separate vertical so these kind of interviews but it's good sneha.
I am glad that she can come out and accept that she regrets what said. Because what she has said was utterly regressive. Now whether this evolution is because of her brand and she wants to appeal to a broader female consumer base or if it’s because of real evolution, who knows!

Mira, you shouldn't cower down and ask for forgiveness from women who are insulting stay at home mothers. Lot of women who are working in the current generation have mothers who did all the housework and that work didn't bring in money. So indirectly, they are insulting their own mothers and calling them worthless. There is a reason alimony exists for stay at home women who get a divorce. It is a recognition of the thankless work done by stay at home mothers. Work is work. Looks like some people think only office work is work because it brings money and recognition. A stay at home mother is doing the work these women pay their babysitters, daycare nannies and maids to do.
Yeah so grow a spine get a job and earn your own money and respect in society instead of putting down strong willed hard working woman who pay their own bills. Also even children go to schools for 6 hours a day. In today's age where work from home and internet is available, not doing something productive with your life is just lazy.
