Welcome back to Gem State Getaways, it is now Day 3 of our extensive adventure in Idaho. The last few days were spent exploring Twin Falls and various natural features around this portion of Southern Idaho. Originally We planned to visit Blue Heart Springs today but due to inclement weather our backup plan led us to the impressive Miracle Hot Springs. After a rejuvenating soak we continued traveling northeast to Idaho’s Mammoth Cave & Shoshone Bird Museum of Natural History. This off-the-beaten path museum features a vast collection of artifacts from around the world as well as a cave to explore. Black Magic Canyon of the Big Wood River is another photogenic location minutes away from Mammoth Cave. During the dry season Black Magic Canyon is a popular hiking destination to walk amongst supernatural lava rock sculptures. After a full day of adventuring we will return to Sun Valley - America’s first ski resort town.
