Can someone please explain to me why people still play normal and not turbo? Just seems so slow/boring in comparison. I've tried it a few times and its painful waiting for everyone to farm up, kill creeps and just wander around map for so long before fighting.

because people want to play dota, not fps style team deathmatch for the entirety of the match for people with an attention span of a 5 year old and is trigger happy.

@@dept308 turbo matches still go for 30+ minutes. That's not low concentration span in comparison to most games out there. Also the only difference is more farming and creep killing? How is that mentally challenging ?? It's the opposite.

@@dazdoukas 30 minutes of blitzkrieg kids going at it at every turn without thinking. Not maximizing the map and turning it to your advantage. The game just becomes a brawler in a moba skin at that point. Look, if you prefer turbo then by all means knock yourself out. Just know that those who prefer real dota have their own reasons too.

@@dept308 yeah, I understand. I get that. I've tried normal... and I'm playing just thinking my god... this is so so slow. All the turbo online friends ive made also rarely ever play normal mode. One thing I hate about turbo tho is early to mid game heroes just fade out too quickly if ur team doesn't rush - it's the only thing that I agree better about normal mode. But... even turbo I think models should be slightly quicker ( maybe 1.25 x times) . It's just so slow sometimes getting from one side to the other side of the map. Or trying to join a fight and ur just waiting for ur model to walk.
