Great video Jordan and Breck! I was surprised when I saw Canter's towards the end of your video----haven't been there since the early 70's! (looks the same, and yes, the food is great)! I ate there just before going to a taping of The Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour at CBS Television City not too far from there on Fairfax. While at Canter's, I heard a familiar laugh a few tables away---it was Frank Sutton (who played Sargent Carter on Gomer Pyle USMC at the time). Apparently Canter's was a popular place to eat for employees of CBS.....forgot about all that until I saw your video! Thanks!

At the Peterson Automotive Museum in 1994 still was the L.A. headquarter of Gray Line Tours where all my sightseeings started. One year later Gray Line was away and I had to do the tours with Star Line... :D That "black and white cookie" in Germany is called "Amerikaner" (american inhabitant) ;) :)
Great vlog as usual and it was nice of you to have Breck along with you. The lunch looked delicious. The menu looked a little pricey but after seeing what you got I guess it was worth it. I'm always happy to see the excitement when Jah sees you. It puts such a big smile on my face. I absolutely love small short hair dogs. You are such an inspiration to so many people...
Hmm.. I don't think I have ever seen Miracle Mile which is surprising to me since I am a big Anthony Edwards fan. I will have to check it out! It also looks like Julie is played by Mare Winningham another favorite actress! It is always good to see Breck and of course Jah! ❤❤❤

I LOVE your dedication to finding all the different filmimg locations for these kind of vlogs! I've never seen the movie, but I will now! I've been to Canters before and man! Their pastrami sandwiches are good! Also loved seeing where the Hollywood Costume museum used to be.
Corned beef, pastrami, yeah baby! I gotta say that the Miracle Mile kinda looks like a bleak movie. Wow, they really all die in the end! Not a Hollywood ending to be sure. Honestly the Urban Light art fixture at LACMA would have made a wonderful set piece for this film. Would've blended in perfectly with the film's romantic and surreal/dream-like quality. Shame it didn't exist yet 🤣
Thank you for taking me places I will never be able to visit myself. I have something called Mast cell disease.......a wild and crazy ride for sure. Anyway, I can't get out except to go to the M.D. and then I wear ice bags unless the temperature is in the 50s. Thank you again. Jo Ann

Fun to see Breck joining in! I never saw this movie but I’ll have to check it out. Back in’66-67 we all used to congregate outside of CANTER’S after the Whiskey and other clubs closed at 2am. A lot of us couldn’t afford to go inside any of the places, so it was just a social event outside . You’d see Davy Jones standing around and various Hippie types. Rodney Bingenheimer tried to get me to go home with him, but I was more interested in a guy called Neanderthal 😹 Thanks for my daily “JORDAN FIX”🥰
Loved the premise of Miracle Mile. I’d almost forgotten about this neat movie. So great getting reacquainted with the characters and locations. Great vlog with Breck! Damn dude a lot of people don't know this classic, took me a long ass time to learn the name of it. Saw it once when I was a kid but could never remember the name. After seeing it again it was funny seeing Brian Thompson (main villain in Cobra) playing a gay helicopter pilot
The Helicopter Pilot was dead. When he came to pick them up after his first trip to the airport he had blood coming out of his mouth and his chest. Something happened at the airport, he didn't mention it though. After the controls were knocked out of the helicopter and they crashland in the water, the pilot closes his eyes and dies.
You know Jordan your picks for movie's has been awesome, i hadnt seen some of these but your dead on that they are great movies! What ever happened to Mary Jane? That was a great suspense film, thanks i think i saw it as a boy and i didnt think much of it then, but watched it again really good! Thanks
Dope movie i remember as a kid having nightmare after seeing it thinking world was going to end. Also any fans of the movie american me. Danny de la paz who plays puppet and chuco in boulevard nights is in this movie. In the diner he plays the transgender character..
