Rebalancing of bass guitar/ kick drum low end frequencies to create a more dynamic groove.
Guitar EQ adjusted for a warmer, fatter sound.
Some vocal volume levels adjusted slightly.
Adjusted kick drum click to feel more natural and also made louder.
Snare drum adjusted & EQ-d to have fewer distracting harmonic overtones and fit into the groove better.
Some overall mix & master EQ & compression adjustments to create a more full, balanced sounding production.

Wow, I have never seen anyone reacting to stuff from Gavin Dunne (a.k.a. Miracle of Sound), yet. That's a very nice surprise. Gavin is a one-man-band from Ireland and he has a discography of 11 albums upto now. He creates own original music based on themes of video games, movies and TV series (no covers). He is the guy who sells (statistically) the most singles in Ireland ... and beyond the nerdom he serves almost nobody knows him actually. That's weird and funny at the same time.

So happy to see people discover this man and his music! Even when you haven't played the game the song is based on, Gavin's lyrics always bring it to life like no other artist I've seen thus far. I've found you guys via Sabaton, who are basically tied with Miracle of Sound as my all-time favourites, so I just wanna say you guys have awesome taste in music! I saw RU-vid already reccomended you another of his recent songs; "Valhalla Calling". Awesome vikings-themed song - especially the metal version! The string instrument you heard is the Japanese shamisen. If you wanna hear that one in full overdrive, Gavin (Miracle of Sound) made another Japanese song called "Rebirth" which still gives me chills after listening to it at least 20 times. He's also made a number of non-video-gamey songs, including a complete metal album. My personal favourites are "Sirona", "Cu'Chulainn" (both about characters from Irish folk-lore) and "Convalescence".

here's a fun fact about samurais: we tend to romanticize them, as we do with pirates and knights, but let's remember that a lot of them were assholes, for example, if a samurai had a brand new sword and he wanted to test how good it was, it wasn't that uncommon for him to just behead a random person on the street and then leave as if nothing happened. Not to say samurai culture is bullshit, this is just a little thing I remembered while watching your reaction and wanted to share it

That was a very rare thing that happened and usually behavior like that led to peasant revolts anyways. This is just a misconception that arises from the fact that samurai could kill a peasant who insults them without consequence (feudal class system), combined with the fact that samurai would sometimes test the quality of new swords on CONDEMNED PRISONERS. Were there samurai who did just kill people in the streets for shits and giggles? Probably. Was it "not uncommon"? No, not even close.

@@H240909 True, but much of the romanticism about samurai was actually born of the Edo period, when samurai were mostly enforcers of law rather than actual soldiers. Before then, they were mercenaries. A samurai would gain their status by delivering the heads of enemy warriors to their patrons, and they opened up with bow and arrow, followed by charging in with polearms, with swords being a weapon of last resort. They often engaged in subterfuge and dirty tactics. However, it was also true that there were certain things a samurai simply would NOT do - like pretending to not be a samurai, or attacking an opponent in their sleep. But the arrival of the Mongols prompted some of them to adopt tactics used by the Chinese Lin Kuei, the Mongols themselves, and teachings of the syncretic religion known as shugenja. And from this, the ninja were born.

@@lamiafamily Well I still never said that it never happened. Plus from what I can tell, that book is just one guy’s critique on what a samurai should be. It’s not some universal code of conduct that all samurai adhere to.

@@bthsr7113 fighting honourably in a battle is being able to die and be remembered well, fighting dishonourably is being able to win but being remembered poorly. That’s what the game was about, honour was holding the samurai back from achieving victory (spoilers ahead) but when the ghost fought dishonourably that worked and ceased the invasion of Tsushima, but he was remembered by the soldiers as cowardly.

Ghost of Tsuhima is basically a love letter to Akira Kurosawa's legendary samurai movies, the game even having a "Kurosawa mode" where its black and white, the audio is grainier, and the wind is turned up to 11
