Mr Urich was such a nice gentleman. He came and spoke to my cancer group. He told us about his own experience with cancer. He said just bc he was rich and famous didn’t mean he didn’t have to go through the same things we did. He said one place he had to go for tests had cockroaches in the basement. He spoke very plainly but with a gentle sense of humor. He was quite handsome and looked totally healthy. I couldn’t believe it when some time later I read that he had died. Just know that he was a lovely person.
Didn't know him at all but he seemed like a very nice person. Liked the parts he played on t.v. always seemed to be gentle and caring . Miss his car and his house. He never ad to worry about a parking space. How are you🎉 hope all is going well.
I missed Robert Ulrich and wish he was still with us. I truly missed his performances and luckily we still have all of his films he did. I prayed he is happy in heaven with his love ones.
Second time I’ve watched this and enjoyed it. Robert Urich was a hearthrob of a man - and it’s sad that he died so young. He would have made many more fine movies. He was only about 54 when he died from a rare cancer. 🙏🏻✝️
What a Beautiful Movie!!! Thank YOU!! and that little boy :) what an Angel he is! Praying for his father to be Happy!! That's ALL he wanted for Christmas!! This is how we should be bringing up our kids - NOT to be consumers but to truly love. ps and i should say...awful, awful loosing your job at that age....those of us who experienced it, it's just horrible.....i think i am still recovering from it....
I’m going to watch it again. I love golf movies .. always a metaphor for life’s lessons. Miss U Bob U !very much & this is a lovely performance of Meredith’s. Im your generation ..those were great years of solid movies you made for tv with a great message! The music was heavenly 🌺 thnx Patrick Williams!
Great movie, such a blessing to Christians and golfers who want to keep trying just to be their best when they play this great game...thanks to all involved...inspiring.
Great Movie! God Loves Everyone out there who is reading this. His grace, mercy and forgiveness is extended out to you! Call onto Jesus when you are hurting, or in trouble, He hears You & will answer you! God Loves You more than you know!!! ❤
My hysband lost his job at 45 when there were high youth unemployment. He then lost his eye sight and needed cornea transplants. It's devastating when mature adults are thrown on the scrap heap with all their 30year or so experience. Companies pay the price for their mishandling of great staff for inexperience ones. Shame on them.
The film ‘Miracle on the 17th Green’ resonates with a profound emotional depth that is likely to evoke a tear or two from its audience. Its compelling narrative and heartfelt performances establish an intimate connection with the viewer, reflecting the movie’s exceptional ability to capture the nuances of human experience.
I have played this amazing game for over twenty years and manage only to break 100 and other golfers used to say to me that every year you’ll shave off a shot!!! Unfortunately it never happened for me! Feeding the crows at my local club Humberstone Heights is the thing I am living for right now. Thank you God🙏🏽
Sometimes we don't see our true talent. But God sure did make it noticeable. If we just slow down enough to just let God do his thing and you will see it. Its never too late to fulfill your dream
If I had my entire life to live over again, knowing what I know now. Many of the decisions I made then, that I changed the second time around, would have changed the remaining balance for better or much worse. Diminishing returns...Every change introduces a new list of unforeseen variables.
@@littleflower9425 That's what the Bible clearly teaches Hebrew 4:14 Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. 15 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Romans 8:34 Who is there to condemn us? For Christ Jesus, who died, and more than that was raised to life, is at the right hand of God--and He is interceding for us. Hebrews 9:24 For Christ did not enter a man-made copy of the true sanctuary, but He entered heaven itself, now to appear on our behalf in the presence of God. Hebrews 7:25 Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.
Its not about religion its about a relationship with God , John 3:16 God sent His Only son to die for all our sins its up to us to accept , pray, repent of our sins and believe, the gospel is simple , we need to turn from our sins 🙏 salvation is God's gift through faith, God's grace in what Jesus did on the cross , shed his blood, its in Jesus alone nothing else can save you not religion, you cannot earn your way to Heaven or doing the sacraments, its false , ...Mary, she needed to be saved to ...Its all about Yahusha Jesus Check out Mike Gendron on You tube about catholic religion , Blessings !!
@@littleflower9425 Actually, it's what Bible believers believe. I was raised catholic, but when my mother took her own life the church refused to give her the "Christian" burial and I turned my back on religion. I still believed in God and when I came to this country someone gave me a gospel tract that told me that I needed to be saved and I learned then that Jesus died for my sins and was willing to forgive me if I asked him and to save my soul. No sacraments can do that and I never heard the gospel preached in our religion. I asked the Lord to save me and that was now 40 years ago and it's still good. Jesus says in John 14:6 " I am the way, the truth and the life and no man cometh unto the father but by me" I encourage you to pick up a Bible, preferably a King James Bible and read the book of John and Romans. I say this with Christian love and pray you will make the right decision.

If it is James Caviezel, you can trust him through and through. The most decent man in Hollywood. If he will accept me, my brother. I bow to James Caviezel.
My love to Robert Urich forever and Meredith Baxter forever loving them to have inspired me for decade’s. I still watching RU-vid videos of them in 2024. I am grateful again & again and always happy to see themes from my living room. Alone since 46 years. Even his voice make me feel so calm happy respectful warmth and compassion ❤️🩹
It is very sad that most Christians have a very shallow idea of Christianity. But I believe that Jimmy Swaggart got the message right in his sermon title, the curse was turned into a blessing. It's on RU-vid.
Good movie but it’s too bad his wife couldn’t enjoy seeing her husband fulfill his dream. She could have taught her children unselfishness by cheering him on no matter what. He was obviously a great provider for many years and he deserved his chance to shine. In the end it still seemed like only her needs mattered. The kids could have been happier if mom had enjoyed her time of growth too instead of making him the bad guy.
His father is teaching him to play golf and the meaning of it all and then promenades across the boy's line! (to the cup) hahaha Rule #4: Do not walk in-between a player’s, or your own, ball and the hole on the green.
He was not really in touch with her dream either... The challenge is for both spouses to continue to allow room for one another to grow and mature alongside one another, while providing each other with encouragement and support. Beautiful how they eventually both realised their own failure in this regard, and how both was willing to rectify it.
@@Mackie17 A recipe for relationship failure in marriage, is to be in competition with one's spouse in sofar as whose role is most difficult and important... As admonished in Scripture: We should be submitting to one another; including to keep in mind that each should look out not only for his/her own interests, but also for the interest of others... Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than him/herself.
