I still remember that day as if it was yesterday. The young Army Specialist was a husband and father. St Joseph’s intercession before the Throne of God spared this young Soldier’s life so that he could return to his family and be a father to his children. Thank you, Ray, for spreading this devotion to St Joseph and encouraging people to ask for his prayers. There are many saints that we can ask to pray for us and St Joseph’s prayers to spare the lives of those in combat are always answered by God. St Joseph’s prayers brought me and 21 Soldiers that reported directly to me as well as countless others home to serve their families.
I love this prayer! It's my absolute favorite prayer to St. Joseph. I've been saying it for about 50 years. I've kind of forgotten to say it over the past several months, so thanks for reminding me of it! I need to start saying it, again!
St Joseph is an awesome Saint. I Say a Novena prayer to St Joseph everyday. So glad your Father got the soldiers to pray to him for protection. St Teresa of Avila had a great devotion to St Joseph as well.
