Its sadly chucked under the window then chloe got thrown under the bus for nor legitimate reason. She then got replaced by Zoe who i guess is good but she is probably just another generic nice girl. Chloe had depth but nope she is not marrinete so she shal perish. What? Kagami likes adrien Well she shall perish too.
Marinette: - Shows interest in Adrien and does nothing about it - Broke into Adrien’s house (Cat Blanc) - Smells his bed (Cat Blanc) - Goes through his stuff (Cat Blanc) - Attempts to break into his house (Chameleon) - Steals his phone (Copycat) - Has a shrine/tons of pics of him on her wall - Knows his full schedule when even Adrien’s BFF, Nino, doesn’t know it (Copycat) - Sabotages Kagami three times (Animaestro, Ikari Gozen, Love Eater) - Teams up with Chloe to sabotage (Animaestro) - Talked bad about Kagami behind her back (Ikari Gozen) - Looks through Kagami’s phone behind her back and without her permission (Ikari Gozen) Kagami: - Shows interest in Adrien and does something about it - Waits for Adrien to accept her or finally reject her (Frozer) - Gives Marinette advice (Frozer) - Tries to befriend Marinette (Ikari Gozen) - Complements Marinette (Love Eater) Um...I don’t know if I really want Marinette to end up with Adrien 😬
There was also that time she humiliated and yelled at Lila in front of Adrien just because she was flirting with him. Likeee yes, She’s a compulsive liar, but it’s not that big of a deal, she really could’ve handled the situation in different ways. (Volpina)
Same, like, Marinette is toxic af, she would be the toxic as fuck gf that doesn’t let you even look at other women. I really want Adrigami to be end game or hell even Lukadrien or fcking Adrinino would be better. But unfortunately that probably won’t be the case
Chloe is like the firstborn of a family while Marinette is the youngest. Chloe gets dumped on for her mistakes while Marinette is praised by the creators.
@@spectre9340 Indeed, and Chloe actually slows dramatically in the number of people she gets Akumatised only really being excessively cruel to Auroea & that was likely a case of projection or her own flaws onto another similar looking Blonde. Oh and amusingly both Chloe and Marinette both got someone Akumatised that lead to a near extinction (or actual) extinction level event in Stormy Weather 2 and Cat Blanc respectively. Say Hawkmoth - how about you leave the girl that can destroy planets alone next time you plonker. Send her a senti-monster that looks like a Teddy bear to cheer her up instead you creep, also Pay August's University Tuition since you have essentially already adopted him.
Mrs Bustier: Mr. Damocles, we need to talk about my class. Damocles: What’s wrong with them? Mrs. Bustier: I think they all have kidney infections. Edit: Oh damn... thanks for 1k likes guys.
What amaze ime is how howkmoth got some increble informations from almost nothing but still doesn't cet it that most of thé miraculous owner(since we know their indenty since miroulous queen) are from the same classe and mostly two of tgem are always aways when there is an akuma attack in Paris
@0-Stars -MikiTune- hawkmoth is kinda like team rocket in a way that their both evil, both are trying to steal something from the hero (i think team rocket does something like that im not really into pokemon) and they both fail alot

Alternatively, entirety of the show is Marinette's delusional fantasies. Season 3 is where she starts to realize this, hence that's why things get more dramatic and she starts to act more irrationally.
tbh his fashion design isnt even THAT GOOD. i love Adrien don't get me wrong, but his clothes? like his suit is pretty good but his everyday outfit is so BASIC and SCREAMS 9 year old when hes atleast 15.
Don’t worry! We got the infinitely better Mari Sue Zoe- I mean Misty! We have 1000% more niceness and 100% less depth! And the best character backstory ever! Get this: she wants to be an actor. Truly immaculate. Oh? You say you want flaws? Don’t worry! We’ll just have people keep saying that she’s so amazing. We’re so smart writers right? Don’t worry old Cyrus. At least we got Guilt trip.
The biggest joke is how they want us to believe Gabriel is a fashion mogul but we never see anything from him, and all of his “designs” that Adrien wears are so basic.
Exactly. He’s Hawkmoth and can give them any outfit and they are the most Atrocious things. I get if he’s trying to lead them away from finding him out... but a 5 year old would have better fashion taste.
I hope they do something different about it. If he does designs, where are they? A visualy apealing show is a big reason to a show's success, and I think they can reep that from the current characters.
Actually there’s an episode where we see his tablet as he scrolls through some designs he presumably came up with. The problem is that they’re as ridiculously over the top as the villain designs, and probably no one would be able to wear them comfortably
@Alicia Chiminje MLB or ML is shorter and easier to type out. Plus on forum about Miraculous, nobody is going to think you're referring to baseball if you use the abbreviation.
Alicia Chiminje because MLB is the abbreviation? It’s faster and if you’re already talking about MLB you don’t need to repeat Miraculous over and over again. Why don’t you like it?
So, is no one talking about the fact that Chloe's ultimate fall is Marinette's fault? Chloe not only is the only person to have actively fought off an Akuma, she is also one of only four people (other than Alya, Adrian and Sabrina) that wasn't akumized in "Ladybug", and not only that, but she is actively *shielding* Sabrina from the Akumas to avoid her to be akumized in such occasion. In the season finale, she cries to Ladybug to bring her her Miraculous to help with her parents. When Ladybug arrives to Master Fu to pick up a Miraculous, she has two mental images: one of Chloe who desperately asks for her Miraculous, and one of Kagami and Adrian together, showing that she is (again, and the last time having been just a few episodes earlier) divided between doing the right thing and acting selfishly. When she picks up the Dragon Miraculous, Master Fu asks her if she is sure about her choice, which is a writing device that has been used multiple times throughout the show to convey that Marinette isn't acting the right way but is being led astray by her own private interests and/or emotions. This led to Hawk Moth's plan of corrupting Chloe to succeed, of course; and *EVEN THEN*, Chloe didn't accept her Miraculous and alliance proposal from Hawk Moth until he accepted to deakumize her parents. So please, can I be explained how the f*ck is Chloe unredeemable when the writing is **explicitly built around** her having slowly become a better person and her villainization being Marinette's fault?
she's also a hypocrite cause hawkmoth knows kagami's identity yet she doesn't tell her "iTs nOT saFe fOr U CaUse hAwkmoTH knOwS wHo yoU iS" Just bc it's Chloe she don't give her a miraculous
@@ladykanrojiarmyblink1570 I just realised something. Characters in the show say that she can be QueenBee no more because of that exact reason, but the in KuroNeko Adrien can change HIS APPERANCE as a Chat Noir. Therefore their argument is bul**hit.
If Marinette, according to Tikki, is the "best holder she's ever had", what the hell were the other Ladybugs like? Because they must have been absolutely garbage for Tikki to prefer a stalkerishly obsessive 14 year old over them.
This show is insulting to children. Dan povenmire even said that he wrote complicated jokes in phineas and ferb because “children are smarter than you think”
And you can see how insulting it is whenever Nino's little brother, Chris, makes an appearance. Marinette, Our Only Hope and the Epitome of Everything Good and Beautiful, refuses to let him play the games he wants to because they're "for grownups" and I guess being 15 means you're grownup enough to play video games??? Let the kid at least try, and if you're right and he * is * too young to enjoy it, at least he'll never bother you about it again.
Shows like Gravity Falls, Phineas and Ferb, and other similar shows were my life. Mostly because I was a stubborn child who refused to watch dumb-down shows, but I think those were so much better than, “Here’s a joke, but these 10 year olds can’t possibly know what it means! Let’s put in a stupid joke instead! What do you mean that joke’s not funny? It doesn’t matter! They’re 10!” shows.
Azula from avatar had a good reason to be a villian, King Andrias from amphibia has a very broken friendship which turned him into a child murderer psycho, The 4 villians in avatar the legend of korra were amon who wanted equality unalaq who wanted the spirits back zaheer who wanted change and Kuvira who wanted to unite the earth kingdom and kind of became a female hitler
So, the emotionally abused 16 year old girl is “irredeemable” in Thomas’ eyes, and yet the literal terrorist and sociopathic liar get a pass? Welp that’s it I’m done with this show goodbye- 🕳🚶♀️
It is so funny to me that Chloe is deemed "irredeemable" by the shows creators, and yet she is one of the very, *very* limited few to fight off Akumatization (a feat not even the shows main protagonists have done), showing that not only is she not evil, but morally stronger than the people you are supposed to be rooting for the most out of the entire cast
I wish she actually turned good, I just love her design, backstory and "character development" it feels like she is just fit for this role. but no, they decide to pick her somehow existing sister that has no true personality than just be nice. it's trying to make us hate a character for no reason. yes she bullies Marinette but at least make her character Arc feel like she's a better villain. after miraculous queen it's so stupid to make her the final villain.
The problem is every episode is the same 1-marinette goes to school 2-obsesses over adrien 3-someone gets pissed 4-they get HAKUMITIZEDDD 5-cat noir and lady bug save the day 6-life lesson 7-more obsession over adrien 8-ending credits
Astruc in 2015: Give us time, we're gonna change it. Astruc now: Fuck you we are not changing shit I hate Chloe she is si annoying I wonder who wrote such bad character.
can we PLEASE talk about the way that nobody acknowledges the fact that their ENTIRE CLASS gets a miraculous??? like nobody??? really?? NOBODY finds it suspicious that paris has never even seen an adult superhero
I always say this. If they just kept Rena, Carapace and Bee as permanent heroes who got their powers from Fu, and Chloe used her brain and didn’t reveal her identity, then it would look nowhere NEAR as suspicious as it does in canon. Five teenage heroes who may or may not go to different schools to one another looks more inconspicuous than 15 heroes who are all coincidentally from the same class, in the same school. I’m just saying. If you wanna sell merch, just have the 5 Miracusquad heroes use the remaining 12 Miraculous for fusions. Not only does it keep a low body count and maintains the focus on the main five, BUT you get way more stuff out of it. We’re talking 80 potential combos here. Obviously they don’t have to use all of them, but it’s just something to consider. Edit: Grammar mistake, and I used the calculator to figure out the actual total of possible fusions.
@@Cheetahgirl_Studios One of my favourite fanfic lines was when one of the characters taunted an Akuma by asking him "I mean who designed your suit? A toddler?" And the Akuma INMEDIATELY turned onto them to attack. God.
Marinette knows Adrien's entire schedule like the back of her hand but never notices he dissapears for hours right at random times? I know she's Ladybug, but she's so obsessed with Adrien, you think she would have realized
Antagonists OR protagonists don’t need to be evil nor good. The protagonist is just the main character and the antagonist is just the character the main character has a problem/issue with. EX: protagonist: bully, antagonist: Student :D
@KEVIN AMAYA-CALDERON stalking, enetering private property, she yknow smelled adrien a pillow, theft, abuse of power, bullying, Destruction of others property and doing that more then once lol
@@_music.mon3 While you have a point, the thing with Marinette is that NONE of her actions are treated as bad. There's one thing having a problematic protagonist because they're meant to be like that, but it's another way different thing to have a problematic protagonist and showing them in a good light (to kids, let me add)
93 years in prison due to France cutting sentence in half for minors, but it could very well be the full 186 after stealing and destroying a bike in NYC, making her an international criminal.
I think what the creators of MLB need to realize is that their viewers GROW UP AND MATURE along with the show. Their viewers arent going to be kids forever. Just like other shows, they first start with a simple story setting. Which makes it easy for kids to understand. But as time passes by, the next seasons should already become more complex and serious.
In its begining Star wars the clone wars was a lazy show with some good episodes hidden in a sea of dumb episodes, but the show grow up and show us more mature plots with darker themes and better written characters, and even so much better animation and designs, i mean c'mon my second favorite star wars character ever is from this show. On the other hand miraculous has the same boring repetitive plots, the characters involve instead of evolve and turn even more annoying, to the point that in the few episodes i've seen i wanted the villain to win just for the episode to end faster. I dont even know how the show was so popular in first place, there's literally nothing new to offer in terms of the superhero (more like magical girl) genre.
"Are they seriously that stupid?" Yes. Yes. They can't recognize each other's voices or basic features in costume. They believe Lila's a good person. They don't follow the butterflies to see where they came from.
@Alicia Chiminje It's supposed to be extremely difficult to reject an akuma once it touches you, so I won't hold that against the show. But that _should_ have made it all the more significant that Chloe has been the ONLY character to do it so far. But you know, irredeemable and stuff.
@Commenter839 Yeah. As much as I dislike Chloe, she was so self-centered and determined to do what _she_ wanted that she was able to resist something Marinette herself nearly couldn't! I would've loved to see some episodes where Chloe tries to prove herself to Ladybug and mentions that she was able to resist an akuma. I could imagine Marinette getting akumatized and leaving her miraculous where someone could find it, leading to Chloe having to become Ladybug and save the day (akumatized Marinette would have the potential to be something dangerous) only to struggle with wanting the spotlight and wanting to do what's right which would result in Chloe putting the Ladybug miraculous where she found it for Marinette to find. Or alternatively, Chloe discovers that Marinette is Ladybug but overcomes her dislike for her in order to further prove that she can be a good person. I imagine something like this: Chloe: Marinette Dupain-Cheng? You're Ladybug? Marinette: Chloe! Uh, no! I'm not! Chloe: Hmm, if you're Ladybug...that means I could just demand that you give me the Queen Bee miraculous. Marinette: Chloe, I can't just give it to you. Chloe: Yeah, I know. I did kind of tell everyone that I'm a superhero. I must be the worst miraculous holder. Marinette: Chloe, you're not. You just...make not great decisions sometimes. No one's perfect. Chloe: I do really want to be a better hero, Marinette. (Marinette gets akumatized later because of Lila or smth and tells Chloe to use the Ladybug miraculous and later Chloe gives the miraculous back to Marinette no questions asked, confusing Marinette. Chloe reiterates that she wants to be a better person).
That's true, but they explain it why. I forgot what episode but they say that it is the magic of the miraculouses that causes people to not recognise them. Except for the thing with Lila and the akumas. It really is frustrating to see that people fail to use their common sense only at certain points of the series. I get that the creators are aiming this show to kids, but you don't even have to be 10 years old to get frustrated at how stupid the characters are.
I actually believe that the Miraculous blurs your features or affects someone's memories in a way that they wouldn't immediately connect you to your identity and just have you register as a different person - magic's gotta have a failsafe, you know, and magical disguises is an absolutely fair one. The Lila BS is no excuse. At least it's hard to keep track of a _normal_ butterfly - they're not that big, and you gotta jump around town across buildings and take your eyes off it as you do so - you're likely to lose the butterfly at some point.
What I never got about Chloe is that she was ROUTINELY preyed upon by both villains and she rejected them despite them having exactly what she wanted. The fact she 180’d in the season finale made no sense since she was on the way to improving throughout the past two seasons.
the thing about astruc calling chloe irredemable and the worst is the fact that pretty much confirms that gabriel is somehow better than chloe. yes, the old man who, when he found out adrien is chat noir, SMILED and immediately jumped at the opportunity to use this new reveal to further his own agenda and was literally willing to sacrifice his own son's happiness in the process ALL BECAUSE he wanted his wife back (and yes, let's not forget the fact he doesn't show any regret or remorse upon realizing he was beating up his son and his gf for a year, at the very least), is SOMEHOW better than a 15 year old brat who suffers from being raised by shitty parents. i'm still disappointed at season 3
Sure, the man who persuades innocent civilians and manifests their negative emotions to utilize them to attack KIDS, and also uses them to terrorize people and literally corrupts everyone into supervillains, is somehow more better than a common high school bully.
@@nra3zehuti781 .... i actually didnt think of that, holy shit like if he can make chat blanc, and akuma that destroyed the world, and an akuma that he made specifically to buff himself up why doesnt he make a healing akuma lol like there arent really any restrictions on his powers than "only one akumatised person at a time" so???
The worst thing in this is that in S1 in the episode with King Kong (Adrien's Bodyguard) Gabrielle is so scared that Adrien isn't chat noir and that he put his son in huge danger for nothing and they change this idk for me it was such a 180° for Gabriel Character
Technically Hawk Moth could have ended the series by using a akuma on himself to give himself the power to track miraculous or powers to literally gain all miraculous around the world (though there might be limitations, kwamibuster and feast episode prove otherwise)
Yeah I'm writing one were Natalie kills Gabrial because she thinks she's a better fit (spoiler she is) Adrian can't be Chat Noir because he thinks his dads dead (ladybug saved him and hes in hiding) and ladybugs stuggling to defeat the akumas because 1) they're stronger and 2) chat isnt there to help. And Chloe tries to cheer up Adrian in the only way she knows how, and he blows up and almost gives away his superhero identity.
I feel the issue really is that Adrien has a actual character rooted plot. A boy whose mother died/vanished (I can't remember if his perception of events is made clear), whose controlling, powerful, and over protective Father keeps him locked away. Thus setting up A: A drive about being lonely B: Him needing some things explained to him to help the audience as he's out of the loop. As Chat Noir he also gets the freedom from the pressure being a model, something pushed on him by his Father, grants. Giving space to look at determining your own identity which is something everyone kinda battles with. Finally... his Father is the big bad. He lives oblivious to this meaning any step towards victory and unmasking Hawk Moth is a step towards massive trauma and his whole life being upended. If you discover that Hawkmoth is Gabriel in Season 2, then Season 3 is a HUGE change. Marinette has many likeable elements and intereting foilbles but.. Hawkmoth and akumas mean little personal to her. She has the standard 'clumsy' flaw which means being Ladybug lets her be... more physically co-ordinated? I'm not saying main heroes need deep, painful backstories but... there's just so much narrative not related to her.
I KNOW ya’ll aren’t obsessing over Marinette and Adrien while ignoring the healthy and stable couple that is Ayla and Nino. Why aren’t we getting to spend more time with them? They at least give me less second-hand embarrassment than Marinette with her constant obsessing over Adrien. Also, a few honourable mentions (including platonic relationships) because someone suggested this in the replies and damn these relationships need some development: Ivan and Mylene. Juleka and Rose. Chloe and her parents. Adrien and his dad. Adrian and Natalie. Chloe and Adrien. Everyone and their kwamis. Basically every relationship aside from Marinette and Adrien. The best part is that we don’t even spend much time with Marinette and Adrien anyway (aside from fan-service) because of the stupid, boring akuma attack that happens in the middle of every episode and makes me want to throw my phone out the window. Can Gabriel just give the audience some time to see the characters develop onscreen for once? It seems as though the daily akuma attacks are serving to make Marinette for example emotionally regress regarding her feelings for Adrien, since she seems to be getting more obsessed with him as time goes on.
THANK YOU!!!!! NINO X ALYA IS SUPERIOR AND IT SHOULD BE A BIGGER PART OF THE SHOW AND MORE FOCUSED UPON!!!!! LIKE HECK DJWIFI IS MY FAVOURITE SHIP IN THE WHOLE SHOW!! YOU ARE MY NEW FAVOURITE PERSON ❤️
Absolutely. I ADORE these two. We also need more of Ivan x Mylene. These two have a way healthier and cuter relationship than Marinette and Adrien. Both them and DJWiFi are couple goals and I’m here for it lol.
How to do a Miraculous Ladybug episode : Step 1 : *10 minutes of the story who is actually interesting sometimes* Step 2 : *Make from this 10 minutes story 5 minutes about Marinette loving Adrien* Step 3 : *aCuMmAtTySe someone* Step 4 : *They transform* Step 5 (Bonus) : *Add a superhero who is going to get forgotten* Step 6 : *Have 15 minutes of them fighting even tho Marinette can just use her lucky charm from the begining* Step 7 : *They win* Step 8 : *2 minutes of story* *Good job you made your own Miraculous Ladybug episode!*
I hate how every single time they introduce someone you immediately know they’re turning evil, you’re pre-determined to not like their character no matter how good it could be
Tho Gabriel is oblivius and dosent reciprocate it since he is obsessed with his wife and take concern of nathalie being self destructive for him yet doesn't do anything but say don't do that, not even take away the peacock
Fun fact: Chole had a redemption arc because Thomas was away and the other writers decided to give chole a character development but once Thomas returned he got mad about it and that’s when thing for chole went downhill
I don't think it's true, he was there in the credits of the show, BUT there were two directors and I think the other one wanted Chloe to have a redemption arc
@@ozvuchkibilla Being in the credits of an episode of the show you created doesn't mean you were in control of it. That's not how industry works... Look at Matt Groening, still in Simpson's credits and not working on the show for years
It just occured to me what this show needs. It needs episodes without Akuma. episodes that show the day to day lives, that gives us insight into the secondary characters and their relationships to our heroes. Time to see Chloe alone in her room, brooding about how lonely she feels (yes I still want her redeemed fuck Asstruck), time to see the Couffaines having a chaotic dinner with the whole band round.
Yes. Every episode is the same it would be better if: ▪️ They were episodes like you said that show just a normal day in Paris especially since the audience seems to be more interested in the private life of the characters than in the super hero stuff (propably because it's always the same) ▪️ A episode that would be only about fighting villains ▪️ An episode where Chat Noir has to save Ladybug ▪️ They don't use the miraculous ladybug and Cataclysm ▪️ An Villain actually is able to steal atleast one miraculous and they have to bring it back (because of the miraculous ladybug the villains will forget the true identity anyway so I have no idea why the never do it) ▪️ There would be episodes where Maijura and Hawk Moth are fighting against Ladybug and Chat Noir themselves Just so it wouldn't be always the same. Also they should actually give Adrienette a realitionship development. I am tired of these fanservice (fanservice doesn't always means something se€ualized it's something that isn't important to the story and only exists to make the fans happy) episodes like Oblivion and Chat Blank where Marinette and Adrien come together just so they can break up again. I don't care if they would be together in an other timeline or when they lose their memories or whatever. And there realitionship seens very unhealthy. They should make Marinette less creepy and make her hang out more often with Adrien so they can actually get an realitionship because Adrien sees her only as an friend and she can't even act normal when she is around him. They should give Adrien a chance to actually fall in love with her and just should make their realitionship work and healthy instead of making this fanservice episodes that doesn't matter for their realitionship.
Yeah like in the Pokémon anime ( which gets criticism too both warranted and unwarranted ) not every episode is about huge and important battles and there’s more slice of lifey eps where it focus more on people and Pokémon in a casual setting
"In the day time, I'm Marinette, just a normal girl with a normal life..." Except you are not normal. You projected posters for a star, projected a hat for the most known designer, your parents have the most popular bakery, your parents love you, you are the most popular and friendliest girl at school, you have good grades. And on top of that at night you save Paris. Sometimes ecen at the day time. Like what?
I agree with everything except the part with her parents. I like how they’re always there for her, but at some point I would probably have them suspect Mari’s hiding something.
"Kids don't understand plot and relationships!" Ah yes, my six year old sister can't watch the entirety of Star Wars the Clone Wars, recognize most every clone, know how the characters are connected, know all the slang and jargon, and understand the importance of arcs such as Mortis (season three), Order 66 (season six), and Siege of Mandalore (season seven), because she's six.
@@TheRealUNGOC Really? That's kinda sad. My dad loves Star Wars, and introduced it to me about the minute I was born, and now I've dumped it on my little sister. We watched it together, and she watches it by herself a lot. I have most definitely run into the room to watch it with her when I heard the intro a few times.
I hate the excuse that "It's just a kid's show!" for bad writing, character development, plot, etc. Not only does ATLA exist but B:TAS existed in the 90s. Heck, Mister Rogers talked about Divorce and Death and that was a show for preschoolers. They should just admit they're lazy or don't know what they're doing. Also, read some fanfiction, it's sometimes better.
It was fine when it was just Alya, Nino and Chloe. Because they at least made sense, as Gale pointed out. But now it feels like whether they need to they just randomly select one of Marinette’s classmates and frisbee a Miraculous at them. I’ve said this before in her Rewriting Miraculous vid, but I feel like a better option would’ve been to keep the S2 Heroes on permanently and reserve the remaining 12 Miraculous for fusions. That way, we still have the MiracuSquad (yes that is what I call them), and we still get to see the other powers whilst maintaining a small enough cast. Just saying.
It's like they want to do a legacy spinoff show, but instead of naturally doing it they just chuck -projectile footballs- Miraculous at Random Character and hope it sticks.
I honestly really like the designs for the newer heroes since they seemed o get less and less lazy with the costume design for the heroes as time went on, but that doesn't excuse the fact that one off heroes are freaking boring. If a character only shows up for 1 episode, then what's the point? All the one off heroes could be easily written out (for example, giving the miraculous to Alya, Nino, or Chloe so they wouldn't have set miraculous. It could make things a lot more interesting). Or they could just not have such a huge amount of miraculous. I like the idea of the main seven, but with the box expanding like that I just think it's too much
@@the_unholynjh3513 I agree. I would definitely keep the S2 heroes, as they seem the most interesting AND they make sense in terms of character progression and plot. I would probably give each of the five heroes a specific buff or area of expertise so that the team dynamic is balanced and none of them feel useless or unnecessary. For Queen Bee I would go agility/speed: out of all the MiracuSquad she's the fastest. Quick reflexes to go with a quick wit, y'know? ;) As far as personality goes, I would definitely keep Chloe's cynical wit and sharp tongue. I would also have her be fiercely loyal and integral: even though when it comes to working with others she can be a bit uncooperative sometimes. As she develops, Bee becomes more friendly and outgoing, exposing more of her good side. I would also change her Miraculous: I feel like Loyalty would be a fitting one for a bee hero, as bees are well known for their dedication to their colony. Rena Rouge would be Deception, and her Perk would be stealth. In terms of personality, she's dedicated to her job and playful. Since Deception and Loyalty are polar opposites, she sometimes likes to poke fun at Queen Bee (it's later explained that this habit of hers is directly influenced by Trixx: a revelation she isn't very pleased with). Much like her civilian form, Rena can have a bit of a short temper. Despite her Miraculous' influences, she refuses to use her powers on her teammates, rather preferring to use her illusion powers to mess with her enemies as a way of weakening them. Carapace has boosted endurance: he can take a lot more damage than his friends. For the most part he's good at keeping a level head in high stress situations, but can act a bit aloof sometimes. But overall he does care a lot for his friends, and will do whatever it takes to protect them. It's not uncommon for him to throw himself into direct danger to protect them, making use of his Perk to make sure they're safe. And this has landed him in multiple lectures from LB about how even though it's harder for him to get hurt, that doesn't mean he's invincible. He brushes each one off with a smile and a "Well, what's the point in being the Turtle Hero if I can't protect my friends?" Cat Noir benefits from strength: out of all the heroes he can deal the most damage. Him and Bee form an unlikely friendship, almost as if they knew each other beyond the masks. Just like in canon, CN is flirtatious and charming, always ready with a wisecrack and a cheeky grin. His romance with LB isn't Instalove- more rather he falls for the painfully shy but brave girl she really is. He tries to limit the use of his Cataclysm down to when it's absolutely necessary: during his training with Plagg the creature explains just how dangerous it is when used on living things. He refuses to use it on people, whether they're akumatised or not. That isn't to say he keeps that mindset forever though... Ladybug's Miraculous boosts her intelligence: useful for the Creation Hero. To the people of Paris, she's fearless. Strong. Practically flawless. To her friends, she's a bumbling dork who can get flustered easily. But a lovable one nonetheless. Despite her paralysing fear of failure, LB fights tirelessly to protect her city and her team- despite Rena and Cat's insistence for her to take it easy on herself. Yes, believe it or not, she actually has FLAWS in this one. Ladybug has an unhealthy habit of overworking herself, often pushing her body beyond its limits from her relentless training and refusal to stand down. Thankfully, later on in the series, she does become less hard on herself, and listens to her friends' advice. I might do the powers and personalities of the Akuma!Heroes as well, as I have a pretty good idea of what they would be like. Does this kind of help?
@@Cheetahgirl_Studios Something else I'd love to see would be Alya knowing how to play the flute, because this would not only make sense in her and Mari becoming friends (them both having some knowledge of an instrument in common), but it would also make her Mirage sequence actually make sense because I ain't believing that a miraculous can give you mastery of an instrument
“You played yourself, Thomas. In your attempts to make an Azula, you made a Zuko.” *THIS* *This is the absolute greatest description of the Chloe character arc and development I have ever heard*
And even then he sucks at it! Cause he can't decide if he wants her to be redeemed or not!! She's constantly balancing between actually getting better and still being a piece of crap
i find it also incredibly disgusting that Thomas calls Chloe irredeemable and evil when clearly she is a child suffering from Neglect and abuse. As a child from neglect and abuse i find it horribly offensive that someone who is obviously struggling and acting out portrayed on tv to KIDS. Is quote on quote "evil". Sure she does bad things and sure she bullies everyone and thinks she's better then everyone. BUT if you had your parents not care about you and your father be spineless and give you whatever you want to hide the fact your mother doesn't care about you, you would sure as hell be the same way. Neglect isn't something you can joke around. Its damaging to a kid. It makes you feel worthless and unloved and crave attention. I know when i was being neglected, i was angry and i would act out for people to pay attention. id kick my walls in and throw tantrums a lot. I would use people and push them away to not let them get close to me. Inside i was suffering and i used a wall i built up to avoid being left alone and loved so it wouldn't hurt. You could tell that when she got her miraculous she felt like she had a purpose. Of course, due to her raising she thought it was a toy at first but she believed in Ladybug because she saw her as this strong person. Even to the point of dressing up like her. (which from neglect i did that too to feel like i was stronger and loved by everyone. I did this with cat noir when it first came out and it got so bad i wanted to become a boy just to be like him. Which now is embarrassing because he has no character anymore lol). She was growing and wanted to be what she dreamed of so that she doesn't have to be weak and hurt. Even when her mother came to Paris and didn't even know her or wanted her to be her assistant and nothing more, Chloe transformed as a way to protect herself and show she wasnt weak. She acted out because she thought with her powers she was stronger and wanted to show her mother she wasn't going to be pushed around. I understand how Chloe feels. it doesn't excuse her actions but it gives a reason. THAT is why i love Chloe and why i think she didn't deserve to be treated like a set piece. Unlike lila who, mind you, got Marinette expelled and then lied to her mother about the school being closed so she doesn't have to go. Yet Thomas praises her. There is no excuse on why lila does that, i doubt there will be. In the end Chloe was the most thought out character but left her back to square one erasing everything she had grown to be. You literally saw her walls go down to ladybug and then oh woops! Back at square one!! she's evil and badguy we're replacing her with a new hero!!! honestly disgusting.
YES! It's honestly disgusting that Thomas frames an abuse victim as an irredeemable villain. And to make it worse, Chloe isn't even a real threat! Why make her a villain, if she's not as powerful or manipulative as Hawk Moth or Lila, you're just resorting her to a plain bully, which of course, IS BAD WRITING.
Thomas is a petty manchild. He wrote Chloe based of his child bully and isn't mature enough to move on and portray her as a person with feelings and emotions instead she use him as a sort of "revenge"
What's worse was that as of Season 5, she's being sent to live with her abusive mother to be eternally tormented, and people are supposed to celebrate that. It's kinda sick, actually.
To me, it was a scene that existed only to roast Chloe and Audrey at the same time while making Marinette seem like a savage. LIKE, CAN YOU BE QUIET FOR ONE MOMENT!?
Also marinette tried to/ actually did break in adrien’s house as normal chick and spots-lady, also she stole his cellphone, has his entire schedule memorized, yes she’s totally not a criminal
She actually is a criminal. I did the math and her prison sentence is 186 years as a conservative estimate. Wonder how this is possible? 1) Repeated offense, 2) She commits a lot of crimes, 3) France doesn't fuck around with this kind of thing.
A thing that I hate about the show is that they never end up finding out who they truly our nor do they date, the show made us think that that was going to happen but is never did.
@@minicooper8854 see that's the point of them never getting together. They do this so that way you wont see the shit writing and keep watching the show.
The fact that they actually had a heart-wrenching complicated plot concept but presented it so damn badly it all flopped is a huge letdown. It really shows how much little things matter in a show
I think Marinette's lack of emotional moments is partly due to Astruc trying to pull off a "strong female character". And for some reason, everyone in charge of entertainment these days think that turning women into these emotionless steely-eyed (masculine) bosses equals a strong female.
I’m writing a Miraculous reboot/spin-off, and one of my main characters is female. But she still shows emotion. She gets frustrated when she feels that Ladybug is hiding secrets from her because she “isn’t ready” to be a hero. She becomes distraught when one of her teammates is brutally killed by an akuma. She’s quick to lose her temper, sick of being treated like she’s naive. But you know something? I give her space to express her feelings. I give all of the main characters time to process their emotions, and actually to THINK and FEEL things. And the character matures throughout the series. She learns what’s really expected of a hero, and that it isn’t all glitz and glamour like she initially thought.
I agree with this. Don't hate me for this, this is just my opinon, but I don't really like Marinette. I think one of the reasons why I feel thsi way is because of the way she is written without many vulnerable moments. Her character either goes from clumsy and awkward girl who is bullied by Chloe and has a massive crush on Adrien, to being a confident, powerful, but well-restraindd Ladybug hero who always saves the day. Other than moments where she is being possessive and stalkerish over Adrien, we don't see much flaws or imperfect facets of her character
@@iamautism420 korra goes through emotional things alot like she breaks down crying multiple times. I dont think she is a strecht of the "strang female character" thing.
Absolutely. They wanted to make a show about girl power and strong women don’t really understand what empowers women. They constantly put down other characters in order to show that Ladybug is strong, including the other girls on the show, and have the girls constantly fight over men. Its kind of insulting how they preach these messages and don’t deliver, and in many instances, contribute harmfully.
Thomas said on Twitter he didn't care about Marinette's age not working with her zodiac sign. They create so many plot holes and say it's no big deal like children eat all the shit they serve.
@@memesdear2323 according to her chinese zodiac sign she should be 18 or 19 now i don't remember. But basically according to the zodiac she gives she is older than she seems
@@memesdear2323 that's the greek/babylonian zodiac you are talking about. I admit I should've added the detail but the chinese zodiac works in a different way. It has to do with the year you are born aswell (I was born in 2004 and I am the monkey sign if I remember right)
The worst part for me is Adrien's development. He's never really gotten his own big moment to save the day, because Marinette always has to do it. When Adrien is not a superhero, he never really has much time to accidentally let out his chat noir inside of him slip out, and because of that he never really has that much personality unless he's Chat Noir. His feelings don't show a lot either. The show would be much better if focused on Chat Noir a bit more, yes, Marinette is the protagonist, but so is he. Adrien deserves more screentime.
They screwed Chloe over as well. Why the HELL did they have her reveal her secret identity to the world?! I know Chloe’s arguably the dumbest character in the show, but even SHE would’ve known that was a beyond stupid thing to do!
I mean, I’m kinda happy it’s always up to Ladybug. Most Tv shows I watch is just boys being the superhero. It boring to watch just boys being the super hero, thinking that girls can never be the main superhero. So I respect that ✊🏼
@@user-zj1ty3ot3c Yes, sure, it might be a nice change of pace, but why do they then say that Chat Noir and Ladybug are equal? That they are ying and yang if the show will only focus on Ladybug and how great she is at doing her job? Not even that, but the most irritating thing about this show is that they have to DUMB down Chat Noir and ridicule him to make her shine. That's just disgusting. It makes me sick. Make him a side character then if Ladybug is supposed to be the only one that can save the day, but then they leave hints about how the teamwork is important only to abandon it right after? Why can't we have them cooperate normally? She's just a teen, she can't have that much responsibility on her shoulders without breaking down.
@@user-zj1ty3ot3c I disagree with this, the cartoons where boys are superheros are cartoons directed to boys. The same goes with cartoons for girls. Example: Winx was directed to girls and nearly all important characters are female. This is so theyr directed audience can relate. This cartoon is directed to any gender but they still throw Cat Noir/Adrien into the dumpster eventhough he is way better character than Marinette. If the writers would treat Marinette/Ladybug like they treat Adrien/Cat Noir she would be a extremly bad character
I freaking enjoy the show it's unique in my eyes and true season 1 was a mess season 2 was decent season 3 was the best so far it's just unique and the show has improved episode by episode season 2 onwards the show will probably be very popular in a few years at least in my eyes
Every reason why I don’t like Marinette: 1: In horrificator Marinette said they should wait for Mylène since she’s the main character of the film they were making. She then got jealous that Chloe could kiss Adrien. She told Chloe to go to the nurses office to get a cute nurses outfit. Then once Chloe was gone she went agianst everything she just said and took Mylene’s role just to kiss Adrien. 2: She has caused more Akumatations then Chloe. Two things about this bother me. One, is that she always says Chloe is the reason why so many get hurt but really it’s her fault most of the time. Second, she is the super heroine. Shouldn’t she be the reason why people end up all happy happy? 3: She used Luka. She literally dated Luka even though she liked Adrien. When Luka asked everybody what Marinette secret was they answered “She’s in love with Adrien.” Thats was the same exact day they broke up. I also think she kept all her pictures of Adrien while they dated. She also never paid attention to Luka. She’d always be off and about as ladybug and she knew their relationship would be like that. She knew she was using Luka to get rid of her feelings for Adrien. 4: She never pays attention to Chat Noir. Just to prove how left out he feels I got proof. In one of the newer episodes he said something around the lines of “Here soon Ladybug isn’t going to need me with all the miraculous she’s giving out.” He also broke a wall out of frustration. So far this season ChatNoirs only gotten like 20 minutes of screen time because she always get help before he can even show up. She also never even bothered to tell Chat Noir that Rena Rouge is a holder of the Fox miraculous 24/7. Let alone the fact she’s a spy for them. She also never told Chat Noir that Alya and Nino know each other’s identity. Nino even knows Alya is a spy and holds the miraculous 24/7. She also won’t tell Chat Noir her identity but it’s perfectly fine for Alya to know. Like I get that she had a lot of pressure on her but she should’ve told Chat Noir. He is her partner and can do the most to help her and understand. 5: Her crush on Adrien. She is obsessed with Adrien. She knows his schedule for the next three years. How is that’s possible? She has pictures of him all over her room. She made birthday presents for his next thirty birthdays. She cant even talk to him with out stuttering and making a mess. She used her powers to give him a birthday present. That’s lead up to Chat Blanc. She watches a loop of Adrien the fragrance add. She’s willing to go against her words just to kiss him. I’m not even sure if her crush on him is legal because, she stalks him. She was in charge of babysitting and left the kid with Alya just to watch Adrien at a photo shoot. Creep. 6: She disrespects her parents. How many times have her parents asked for help and she just ran off? Lots of times. At the premier for the ladybug and Chat Noir movie she only helped her parents cause it would mean she could see Adrien and give him a Macaroon. Her parents are probably always worried on why their daughter isn’t home most of the time. I think she should tell them that she is Ladybug before they think she has a mental illness. Which they probably already do considering her obsession of Adrien. She even said she was too busy to hang out with them and had Max play video games with them instead. Let’s be honest. When is they last time we saw Marinette helping out in the bakery, playing video games with her family, or just anywhere near them? I could go on and on with reasons why I don’t like Marinette but it would take to much time. Thank you :)
Calling Gabriel an abusive father is an understatement... He makes Norman Osborn look like a better father to Harry because in someways he is, and that’s saying something since Norman was more of an unhinged psychopath than Gabriel...
Sorry if I offended any twelve or below readers, honestly I just turned thirteen a few months ago, so I'm not even far ahead. I wasnt trying to call anyone stupid, or less observant, I was simply trying to be funny and make a joke, just like most people you meet in the comment sections. I'm sorry if you were offended, but that was not my intent, I'm very sorry if it came across as such
the biggest problem is that the fans see the many flaws of the show. and yet thomas astruc does nothing. the best part of the show atm is fan content. that's really sad
The worst thing is that he actively defends those flaws when people point them out. He acts like the fans are "fansplaining" things to him (and I shit you not that's a word he actually used), and he's the writer so that MUST mean that anything he says is the objective truth and whatever viewers have a problem with is just a "ahah you really think you know more than me" moment, right? 💀
@@franm938 Ah Mr. Astruc, have you stopped to consider that maybe some of your fans are also writers? Seriously, does he think he's the only person who can be a writer or something?
@@the_unholynjh3513 not only that, but when you make a show and the people who are consuming the finished product have some complaints about it... maybe listen to them? the viewers are the people the show is made for, after all. If you don't even listen to your audience when they point out flaws because they genuinely want the show to live up to its full potential, don't expect them to stick around for very long.
ok and also THE WASTED POTENTIAL!!! the characters could be interesting and growing, and hey, the plot could get so interesting, with the Agreste family and stuff
This show took a shotgun, shot for the stars, only for the bullet to miss completely, come back down, nail the show in the eye and then it had to get surgery to remove that eye because it got infected.
I mean no one’s talking about Marinette but the writers really messed up her character in S3.. They really tried to be relatable and exaggerated her actions and behavior and that caused her to outshine Cat Noir and be a girl who is obsessed with Adrien. Literally they didn’t even write her in S3 they just said “Your whole life is Adrien and yeah don’t forget to be mean to everyone this season!”. They really did her dirty and here I am, getting sad while reading Mari hate comments... I really despise the writers sm because this could be a really good story and she’s so much better ughhhhhhhh
I really do hate when show creators hate characters who aren’t bad characters. YOU made the show. YOU can change any character at Will SO CHANGE THEM URGH.
I don't and can't understand why Thomas hates a characther that he created. As a writter, you gotta like every characther you write, even a bit, being good or not. If you don't enjoy write something either your audience will.
@Ivanna Claudette IKR? I love all my characters like they’re my children: even the evil ones. Plus, in Chloe’s defence, she isn’t even that bad. I don’t know why Thomas thinks she’s evil incarnate when we have someone like Lila on the show.
I feel like they'll give Marinette's ENTIRE class a miraculous and I HATE just thinking about it. Do they not want the information about the kwamis and miraculouses to remain a well-kept secret?
I suspected this as soon as Alya was picked for Rena Rouge. It seemed inevitable when Nino became Carapace. I counted and there's enough kids in their class for the Chinese Zodiac miraculouses
She will probably give Gabriel one too and then he will be it for one day, and then will merge it with the butterfly, peacock, and whatever she gives him and it will be a huge mess.
There should have been 5 miraculous, including LB and CN, on the good side at most. Involve Alya, Nino and Chloe and no more otherwise it becomes way too messy imo
Fun fact, Marinette have Adrien location in Shanghai without him knowing and also cause more akumatization than any character aka making her job worse. Marinette doesn’t care about Adrien feeling as much as everyone thinks she like the idea of Adrien and can be a toxic couple if her obsession doesn’t lower down.
The sad thing is that all they had to do was have Marinette's family be planning a trip to Shanghai to teach Marinette about her Chinese heritage but no make it that she lies to her parents to stalk her crush.
"Kids don't understand plot and relationships!" Ah yes, so my 9 year old sister, who recently watched ATLA, after I forced her, didn't tell me that she loves the show so much. She doesn't laugh about Sokka's sarcasms and bad jokes, she didn't feel sympathy or sadness when Aang told Katara how he ran away, she didn't cry and told me how much she misses Yue, she doesn't tell me how much she admire Toph, she doesn't care about Zuko's character development and redemption arc, she doesn't feel sad everytime Uncle Iroh mentions about his son, and she doesn't ask me if there's a thing she didn't understand in every single episode, *because she's just a child.*
One thing that really bothered me about this show is that they sometimes make Cat Noir completely useless like he can’t do anything without Ladybug. They are both supposed to be equal but he’s always in the dark, belittled, and seen as stupid. I mean he didn’t even have as close as a relationship to Master Fu like Marinette had. He’s such an important character but is viewed more like a sidekick than an actual partner. His character is more complex especially with his home life and how he feels more free as Cat Noir but the writers don’t take advantage of that. Him and Marinette hold the same responsibilities but they never focus on how he as Cat Noir also struggles with his super hero life. Instead everything is about Marinette the girl with the perfect understanding family who has a crush and many different responsibilities that make her life hard to juggle. Adrien has all that too, even more in my opinion. I mean for god sake his dad is always on his ass, and his freedom is limited. I have so much evidence where they do this and it infuriates me. The only episode where they are even close to equal is in the one scene in the awful season 3 finale where he merges miraculous, because they finally work as a TEAM. His main use is basically to re-ensure Ladybug that she can do it and be there for her when she doubts herself. I could go on forever with this but I’ll stop now
THATS WHAT I"VE THINKING SO MUCH ABOUT OMG< AND WHATS EVEN WORSE IS THAT ADRIEN LITERALLY DO SPORTS THAT MAKES HIM PHYSICALLY MORE CAPABLE AND SKILLED, LIKE HE HAS EXPERIENCE WHEN IT COMES TO FIGHTING WITH SOMETHING, THEY EVEN LET KAGAMI SHINE AND UTILIZE HER SKILLSETS WHEN SHE GOT HER MIRACULOUS. basically marinette is a morally corrupted mary sue that is desperately aiming to be presented as a morally just person
The thing I hate about Marinette is when Chat Noir said '' Cat and Bug team'' and Ladybug corrected him by saying ''bug and cat team. Like does it matter!? She's saying it like Chat Noir is a sidekick.
I think Astruc is being petty, childish and partial. What he did to this character accomplishes nothing against his old bully. And if he made her have a sad backstory, that means he must have considered the possibility that the bully also had her own problems, and yet, he doesn't have the empathy to care. Astruc is a pathetic, emotionally unbalanced shallow manchild. And that reflects in both the main characters and plot.
Just a little story: in my old high school we basically had a Lila. She was new, she was fun, she was extroverted, she was nice... and also had two thousand interesting stories that totally happened in her 14 years of life. Difference? Absolutely no one believed her from day 1. She ended up pretty alone, was always trying to start drama, and the only people who could stand her had to severly look over how big of a liar she was. Yeah, when Lila was introduced I was frustrated.
@Alicia Chiminje in Lilas defense, when you put everything in context it doesn't sound too ridiculous that the class buys all of Lila's tales. the school she goes at has a lot of rich kids or are kids of famous parents, i mean ffs Chloe is the mayors daughter (also youd be surprised how easy it is to fool rich people in real life take a look at Anna Delvey who made New York socialites believe she is from prestigious rich family) and many kids in the class including marinette have met and know a celebrity or again have a celeb parent so when Lila lies about meeting Prince Ali obviously people wont be surprised about it since one of their classmate also has met him. also we are talking about the same class who would buy every bullshit lie Marinette and Adrien would throw at them so that they could exit the scene to transform so why wouldn't they believe in Lila's?
I hate how they called Chat and Ladybug equals when they do NOTHING to show it. Instead, Chat gets treated badly. Like he's a joke. Mari treats him badly, in one episode she did nothing but belittle and put him down for not being able to use her Miraculous, but somehow she can use his perfectly. It makes me angry that Ladybug is treated like some perfect goddess while Chat is in her shadow
@@farzad6294 From what I have heard, despite it being a "cutesy" special they treated their relationship as something that was never presented in the show. Yes they were always good friends, but Ladybug didn't treat Chat that amazingly in several episodes and if I remember correctly- she turned him down when he has no romantic intentions (in the special not the show. I haven't watched it in a long time however so I may be wrong)
@@Scarlettt343 now that i think of it, your points are correct. If im being honest the NY special if full of fanservice (which in this context isnt exactly good) and while getting "cute" adrinette scenes it rlly doesnt feel like a continuation from s3. Rather then having so many adrien and mari scenes we couldve gotten more lore like explanations on how the NY heroes bracelet thingys work. That possibly be just me since i dont ship any of the main 4 ships aside from marichat. Well what do you think, would u prefer lore or more shipping?
I hate the fact that they didn’t explore their double lives in more depth. Cause it’s like when they merge with their Kwami to become superheroes they become the person they’ve always wish they were right? Thus, Marinette: the clumsy and awkward girl, got to have the power of chance And Adrien: the perfect “papa’s boy” who has this kind/caring prince image gets the power of destruction, right? There is so much more that could have been explored here. I would have liked to see Mari and Adrien to have a moment where they go through some type of identity crisis due to the fact that they have two lives now, and they both have two personas. Wouldn’t that mess up somebody’s mind? especially with them being teens?? And the amount of time they spend “saving Paris” should channel on their regular life. Their parents or closed ones should be able to be suspicious. I get it they have powers but do they ever get tired? Or lack energy the next day? Normally wouldn’t they have a crisis point where they’re having issues jumbling their double lives? Especially Adrien, how the hell does he manage to follow his packed schedule so perfectly while saving Paris at the same time? Does he ever get chewed by Nathalie or his father for missing one of his many schedules (piano, mandarin classes, photo shoots and whatever else) ??? I just wish We could’ve seen them struggle at how hard it is to be a hero when you’re trying to figure out life at the same time and maybe have the kwamis give them some emotional support or something.
the fanfiction is this fandom is so much better than the actual content. I just find it really really sad a single 16 year-old on ao3 can have better thought-out plots and better pacing and character developments that actually make sense for the character than a team of rational adults who put their products on national television.
Selim Sultan Akbar Can I just safely say that Miraculous Ladybug is fanfiction fodder at this point? The writing for this show is so inconsistent, it makes shit like Kingdom Hearts and the Fate series (both as a whole) look cohesively written in comparison. I'm pretty sure that anyone can tell that something is horribly wrong with a TV show (animated or live-action) if the fan material for it is better than the canon/actual material.
have you ever thought that writers of the show just wanted to make more seasons because of the amount of fanfictions there is right now. I guess they scared to animate it like they should bcous.Imagine being the studio animating it and some guy is spamming DUDE it happened exactly like i wrote it in my fic:O so basically they copied someone else work or whet:DD so nOW enjoy shitty ML.And EVERYONE IS SCREAMING that they copied off of a fanfic :O :DF that would be oH my God dude.AHAHAHAH
Lili What’s funny is that it’s just one person coming up with different theories and ideas, they have time to go through and process the characters better then the writers could ever accomplish.
my guess would be that the team of adults simply forgot what it was like to be a teen so they can't write neither teen drama or characters to save their lives. A less incendiary guess would be something i saw on youtube once about why teen tv sucks now, it's because the writters try to mimic the dynamic that happened and was popular when they were teens, but since they are completely blind to how it has changed they just add smartphones and social media to it, it's really no wonder that's basically Alya's character as a whole.
@@juwanbantug5465 Often wildly different too. But yeah on average the Fan fiction is good and sometimes it's pretty darn great. I'm really enjoying a series about Nino at the moment & his budding romance with Kagami (It's so adorable)
Real Talk: he hates Chloe because a sizable portion of the viewers like her, and find her genuinely more interesting than Ladybug, wanted her badly to be redeemed and even found her attractive. So he created a character as a stock villain but accidentally made her more likable than his heroine. He created Marinette, presumably, as some kind of idealized girl (effectively shipping her with HIMSELF) and found out people found Chloe more enjoyable. This is like if people found Thanos, a cold and monolithic villain, more interesting than Captain America, meant as an idealized hero.
Yes and no. A character in a story by definition is part of the plot by being in the story. The meaning I'm using for plot device is when a character ONLY exists to preform a specific action in the plot and nothing else. For example, Alya has feelings, friends, and activities that don't always have to do with the problem in the episode. She has emotions and goals that have nothing to do with the plot of the show, therefore she is not a plot device. However, Lila only is in episodes where she is the antagonist and has no friends, goals, or emotions beyond the episodes plot. She is only present when the plot needs her, so she is a plot device. I hope that helps! And thank you for the comment!
The Chloe thing is the one that annoys me the most, she has soooooooooooooooooooooo much potential for a complex character. Why do i feel like Thomas made Chloe irredeemable on purpose because maybe it is based on a real life bully he experienced in school so he is still butthurt cuz he seems to be very passionate about Chloe hate.
Ale Creates Honestly, chloe’s supposed redemption arc and her complex character would have been one of the show’s interesting highlights. Beyond the romance, a complex character who is a bully to the protagonist but is proven to be a worthy ally to her hero career with or without a miraculous and, change for the better chloe shows it. It could have been a lesson to children, you don’t need a special ability to be the best and to help ur idol. We have been given scenes where chloe has been a useful teammate to ladybug in both of her civilian and hero form in the 2nd season and it in a way carried to the third season. Its such a shame that concept was thrown in the trash in the last 2 episodes because of his hatred to chloe.
Idk man, the things shes done could potentially ruin peoples lives, I honestly dont care one bit if we never see her again, she was hella annoying. Besides this is a kids show, I doubt anybody really likes her anyway
Well, it's not like it's too late. As far as I'm concerned, she is still slowly becoming a good person, and as we've seen, what happened in the last two episodes isn't her fault at all and she had every right to do what she did. I mean, no matter what this guy writes in his twitter the show does not go along with it. At least yet.
Fun fact: Marinette has caused much more worse akumatizations than Chloe. Edit: To make things more worse, a lot of ppl in Miraculous are surprisingly sensitive.
And yet...Thomas still makes her the hero even after all the akumatizations and her stalkery actions. Because of these decisions it makes me and others hate Mari in the process. Adrien should share her spotlight to grow up from his "My Lady" phase and actually stand to his father by showing Paris that he's more than just LB's sidekick
@Areeba Rizwan Just like most Disney films, they make the main character the most bitchy and weird meanwhile making the side characters virtually ten times better
@Areeba Rizwan Tbh Disney does it the worst. Take Frozen What personality does Elsa have apart from being powerful? Meanwhile Anna, Kristoff and Olaf are funny, quirky, have amazing chemistry and they make for an AMAZING subplot. Hans was good too until he became evil. Elsa would've made a better villain and her being a villain was actually in the first draft of the film
Mari could have been a way better character if they handled her correctly. First off keep the pros (she is sweet, smart and cares about others more) and keep the cons too (clumsy, overthinking, jealousy and can be selfish at times). Instead of making her fall in love with Adrien after the umbrella scene, have some events where it shows them hanging out as friends and as time goes on Mari started to develop a crush on him (I would cut out her stalking, but keep the jealousy just don’t put it over the extreme). Make her have some sort of consequences for her actions like how her jealousy can start to affect her friendship with certain people and she might end up losing some friends. And honestly for the series as a whole they could have done some episodes where they focus more on other characters and just put Mari in the background cause that is what I have seen for most shows. Overall she is just ONE of those characters who were affected terribly by bad writing and honestly fanon Mari is way better than canon.
I love cat noir, but I hate how his entire personality is ladybug his worst fear: ladybug hating him, His biggest obstacle:ladybug not loving him His constant flirting during and after battles is so annoying.
Marinette is a good person, socially and relationship wise, she's a good role model. But when it goes to romantic interest or rivals, she's the worst example to follow. In the first season, she was tolerable and seemed somewhat realistic but after that nope. She felt less genuine, less likable, especially when her crushing goes really out of the water to borderline yandere like.
I find it hilarious she hates Chloe because she likes Adrien, when the girl has legitimate reasons for why she does. She grew up with him, and knows him better than Marinette. And last time I checked, Chloe’s never broken into Adrien’s house on three separate occasions.
Hey we can make a game called Miraculous Simulator. Mari is a yandere. Adrien is Senpai. Chole, Lila and other people who get close to Adrien are rivals. Idk that sounds like the show to me.
@ᔕᗯEET ᔕTᖇᗩᗯᗷEᖇᖇY I did. I just have a hard time rooting for Marinette and Adrien becoming a couple because Marinette barely knows him. She CLAIMS to, but really it’s just another celebrity crush. There’s nothing separating Marinette from all of Adrien’s other fangirls. At the very least I can understand where Chloe’s feelings are coming from.
we gotta talk about the weird power dynamic between ladybug and cat noir. ladybug is way overpowered while cat noir looks absolutely useless in most fights, which makes me confused as to what’s the point of cat noir even being there if he’s just a bother to ladybug? cat noir deserves way more screen time and character development bc keeping him just as “uuuh funny superhero flirts with ladybug hahaha funny” is just hurting his character.
*laughs in cat can destroy anything he touches including people, which is wayyyyyyy more interesting than the "lucky charm", and he has better character traits in general, and should therefore be the protagonist.

@@Cheetahgirl_Studios This is why I hate the ladybug miraculous..I mean heck! I would rather turn into a cat (Galra/ Ventrexian) or use plasma blasts to kill my emenies with no mercy. Who had thought that the random object power was a good idea to have as a Ladybug power? Also....how the fudge is a yo-yo useful as a weapon, It could work as a grabbing hook but not as a weapon...no just no....
Ariasnow16 Well, I mean, if they have LB her old power of being able to turn it into different weapons, then it’s useful. At least for QB she can turn her weapon into a stinger.
@KEVIN AMAYA-CALDERON Having high school protaganists as kid shows are...honestly a really strange choice. Most "kid shows" have elementary or middle school protaganists. Dont get me wrong Im not expecting sexuality and social issues (even though it would be realistic for highschool students tbh), im not even expecting a sailor moon (which got darker as the series went on honestly) but I feel like high school protaganist shows should be at least a _little_ more mature.
At this point I feel so awful for Adrien because he now has to live knowing about Marinette’s creepy ibsession with him, has an absent father, “dead” mother, and is left in the dark about literally everything and is still expected to trust Ladybug. If I were him I would be demanding answers from Ladybug because the trust between the two is not balanced at all, and I just wanna give him a hug and tell him to take a break. If it keeps up much longer, Cat Noir’s gonna lose his faith and trust in Ladybug, and I won’t blame him for it
Bunnylover UWU I would happily give him a big hug and a croissant. And have a talk with him just so that he can let all of his problems out to someone who is willing to listen.
Something even creepier is that apparently Marinette and her whole class are apparently 14 year olds. That means they are ‘saving the day’ and fantasising about love and obsession. Hey, I wouldn’t be surprised if Marinette is some child Ayano. I guess you could say its understandable that Lila lies a lot because...that’s what you’d expect? And some of them are riding motorcycles or building AI.
I feel like marinette really wasn't thinking about a costume when she transformed (I mean to me I feel like out of all the miraculous holders in the show Marinette by far has the most realistic/best first reaction to seeing a kwami) But you do have a good point, since out of all the costumes ladybugs is the most basic and pretty boring overall (even though she is the main character of the show)
And neither are any of the other heroes... I’m sorry, can someone please check with Thomas to see if he ACTUALLY understands how a team works? The heroes should be powerful individuals that are strong on their own but are stronger together. Not a bunch of brainless sidekicks and Jesus in red Spandex.
@@aria-fantrexian5574 I mean, I don’t think I’m asking for too much here. Just for the other heroes to get a chance to shine. Especially the girls, since this show is meant to be promoting “feminism”.
@@Cheetahgirl_Studios I agree with that. I saw a show that it has 7 main characters yet they still each get an episode centered around them and a chance to shine....Miraculous doesn't have an excuse. Btw....my hope with the show since season 4 started is getting lower everyday...there's also that Shanghai special....
i just realized that because the butterfly miraculous can give someone ANY power, hawkmoth can just give a victim the power to heal the sick/revive the dead, and then boom, his wife is back. OR if for some bullshit reason the victim can’t revive the dead, then just give them the ability to rewind a person’s life. we’ve seen akumatized people rewinding time before. they just need to touch emilie and then after a little bit she’d be back to normal. :/
Chloe's redemption arc made me start to actually like the show and have an actual favorite character. It introduced us to Chloe the human rather than Chloe the bully archetype. It would have made the show so much better if they went along and didn't ignore the fact that Chloe was starting to change. It would have been so good to see Chloe in so many episodes try to become a better person for Ladybug, her parents, and for herself. But nope let's forget about Chloe's development, oh hey do you remember this bully person? Yeah she's now an akumatized villain again and we will never give her a redemption ever again because we don't like her. Honestly, only Chloe and Adrien interests me in this show nowadays. Instead of Chloe being a bully forever it would have been so cool to see Chloe change to a better person who isn't a bully but is still sassy :( Anyways that's just my opinion because I can't stress enough how much I think about Chloe's wasted potential as a character and a person.
If you were to tell this to my old me who was a Ladybug fan, I'd be insulting you right now, but you're right, this show is rubbish. The worst thing was that, despite being a cliche, it had potential; But hey, Thomas is only interested in easy money.
@@insertcognomen zag clearly isn't, despite the fact that this is thier first big cartoon that succed so much on international media not just thiers televisions (or only meant for little chlidren), earned a lot of money and have such fanbase that most of thier earlier cartoons and productions did not have- they did produce some of cartoons earlier. Thomas on the other hand worked in the cartoon industry before too, maybe not as much as he do now but still- he had a chance to work for examle on Kod Lyoko and Witch so. He was a part of storyboard producers and he had a chance to be a part of scriptwriting so we can't say he was completly new to those world.
『 samantha』 I’m really sad about where the show is going. It’s kind of like the Pokémon franchise where no matter the premise is so good that the actual quality doesn’t matter so it’ll make a ton of money either way.
holy crap i've never noticed this but- episodes like Animaestro - 'wish to marinette somehow starting working with chloe', Felix - 'honor to PV version and wish to see more of adrien family drama', Oblivio - "reveal and Adrienette", Startrain - "wish to Adrien and/or Marinette falling asleep at eachother shoulder due to a LOT of comics that is", Silencer -"Lukanette shippers wild dream", Chat Blanc - "akumazition of chat noir and another reveal with adrienette", Reflekta 2 - "kwami swap", Ladybug - "Lila bullying marinette and her akumization" Weredad -"Marichat and balcony scene again" and finally - Ikari Gozen - "Marigami rights" The final point - almost half of the season was based on most popular tropes in this fandoms and - creators read f a n f i c t i o n s~
