I think that the first season of the iCarly reboot has been completed. I hope that they gave Sam a respectable backstory. I suspect that a second season is already in the works. I truly hope that Jenette has a change of heart after she sees the reboot and the fan's reactions to it. I hope the critics have favorable reactions too. With that in mind, maybe Jennette will reconsider joining the cast for at least a cameo if the role of Sam is handled with the respect and honor that it deserves. That way she doesn't have to commit to a long-term contract or disrupt the successful projects that provide her with her current sense of fulfillment. We miss and LOVE Jennette! And she doesn't seem to be afraid to be in front of the camera from what I can see on RU-vid.

Jennette McCurdy was a vital and necessary part of the show. I wish them all the best but I won't pretend that her absence isn't going to be an issue.
