@@luisalonso959 hard to follow? they are really not i think stone ocean gets a bad rep because the people that read it are brain dead when its actually a really solid part
@@hazer3248 well, they can be very hard to follow sometimes. Cough cough Dragons Dream cough cough Bohemian Rhapsody. But that is about the extent of my major complaints with the part. Stone Ocean was great, but some fights just didn't fully lend themselves to the manga format, so hopefully the anime can fix that.
I loved this arc from stone ocean. especially in the end where Jolyne uses her stand to beat the shit out of the girl with a baseball like a yo-yo. Honestly it’s underrated
Watching this fight in animated form definitely makes me appreciate the fight even more. I honestly think this is my favourite fight in this season so far.
Tbh I prefer the JoJo’s manga completely over the anime for every part. The JoJo anime is great but the manga just far outclasses it, JoJo is just one of those series where it’s impossible to make a perfect anime adaptation. I’m my opinion
anime only here: whole thing felt like love-letter to the d'arby fight, but with a lot more cardio XD It was honestly really fun for what was only a one-part miniboss
Come to think about it, if you bet your stand abilities, and Miraschon wins, Marilyn would be the most overpowered stand ever. If she starts taking basic combat stand abilities and working her way up, of course.

Reading the manga is just a whole other and better experience than watching the anime
As a metalhead, I really wish there was more stands in Jojo that are named after heavy metal bands, Avenged Sevenfold and Slipknot could be a really badass names for Stands.
@@minecraftw7859 Yeah, that too, I mean, Iron Maiden got a lot of neat albums and songs that could be a pretty cool stand name too, The Book of Souls, The Final Frontier, Dance Of The Death, The Wicker Man, and etc.

Now I’m really hard for this arch to be animated since there aren’t that many metal stands in jojo (besides Black Sabbath and Metallica which are great stands anyways) and Manson was my one of my gateway bands to metal, plus he’s heavily into the occult and he’s weird as shit, so he’s perfect for jojo.
It's nice that Part 6 focused more on Tactical Stands than Physical Stands. It makes the fights much creative rather than simply punching and nothing else.
Out of all the wager stands, MM is basically good, but still not good compared to 2 other wager stands(Osiris and Atum), but all 3 are far superior to Boys II men
X Moore It can. It bets in "amounts" of things, cash usually, and if the victim is unable to pay, then MM removes whatever is needed to match the amount owed. The original commenter said "wager stands" and he grouped them all under the same banner.
Manuel Mateo Oh I'm sorry I wasn't being specific. See if Osiris and Atem can only bet souls, with Atem only betting through video games, not to mention that if you can convince the users that they lost even if they didn't will negate the stand's ability, and the fact that Marilyn Manson automatically cheats for the user while being cloaked doesn't. Doesn't that mean that of all the gambling Stands Marilyn Manson is the best.
X Moore Yes, you could say that. The way I see it, none are truly better than each other, because they all have different strength and weaknesses, even between Osiris and Atum (of course, opinion decides between which one we both prefer more, in your case MM). However, I wanted to mention that Atum can remove souls through other competitions besides videogames. The D'arbys are the same that way. They can both remove souls straight up, but it's apparently very difficult to do so. Thus, they discovered that when a person loses self-confidence and falters "spiritually", their soul is much more malleable and can be easily removed. That's how Terence is able to grasp Jotaro's "wrist" with Atum. In that brief moment when Atum somehow completely, unequivocally dodged Star Platinum, Jotaro felt the slightest tinge of failure. In that moment, Atum was able to briefly touch Jotaro's soul, which is why he has his soul's wrist hostage (holy shit, Jojo is weird). Both Daniel and Terence just use their individual fortes to make this happen. Also, I'm not sure what you mean by "Marilyn Manson cheats for you", but, yeah, MM is also invulnerable and unstoppable once you owe it a debt. They all have specific uses and disadvantages, which goes for a large portion of the stands in Jojo.
@@4633iam is that it? I was thinking maybe she felt no remorse for what she did so she didn't feel guilty or that she herself had cheated with her stand
In hermes case there was only Hermes cheating I think both of them don't even know the time ran out In Jolyne case she the one who cheat first and Jolyne ace making both of them are cheating and no body is fair in the betting
@@alterp5108 I'm pretty sure that's correct, Hermes lost the bet because she felt guilty. Jolene didn't consider her actions to be "cheating" so she didn't lose the bet
Like how can you not like killer gambling baseball. It’s too good Just another amazing and underrated part 6 fight that doesn’t get the recognition it deserves
Actually, it's like a D'arby stand, but instead of bet your soul, you bet money and if you can't affort the debt Marilyn Manson will start taking things of value from you, organs included
i just notice she cant summon here stand maybe because it only active if the person lost the bet that stand is powerful stand:you lost the bet pay up Hermes:IM NOT GIVING YOU CRAP stand:THEN YOU PAY WITH YOUR LIFE
