Miriam. Not that you’ll ever read this …. You always give me a belly laugh. When I’m a bit off, I happily listen to a mashup of your many hysterical best bits on the Graham Norton show. I could listen to your stories, and your humor, great intellect and straight ahead comments about life, and the obscenity of world politics. You are such a gift to the many.

I enjoy Miriam in films, in interviews and as a guest on British talk shows. She's direct, funny, and self deprecating. I imagine there are more people who like her than who criticize her earthiness.

A refreshing perspective on self. Why not be proud of owning the fact that you want to be noticed. I believe this is what makes Miriam so dynamic and refreshing. She does strength and vulnerability interchangeably so well.

I adore Miriam and I am a huge fan of her brilliant work. I believe she would make a very impressive Nanny Og if someone were to make a movie about one of Terry Pratchett's books that feature the witches. I think that part was written for her. Miriam Margoyles is the epitome of what I deem a true preffesional character actress. I love her personality to bits..my most favourite part of her is her realness..she is so down to earth and genuine that I believe I would feek totally comfortable in her presence.❤❤❤

Miriam Margolyes is one of my all-time favourite people. I’ve never heard her talk anything but perfectly frank wisdom and sense. I was fortunate enough to see her live Dickens show many years ago in Australia. The highlight was the time she spent after the show just chatting with the audience. The dubbed version of “Monkey” was a cult favourite in my childhood, so learning that she had been the voice of Tripitaka just cemented my admiration for her talent. She is a gift to humankind❣️ 🙏

I just love her but a strange interview, not seeing a two shot with the Host and Miriam. It made the interview looked very edited and spiliced.

I enjoyed her autobiography but haven't read 'Oh Miriam!' yet

I really don't like that the interviewer is not at eye level with Miriam, forcing her to look up to him. All interviewers and interviewees should be at eye level to one another. He looks like he is perched over her.

Miriam, though VERY bright and entertaining becomes a bit of a bore by being so constantly ON. In the name of ATTENTION, her recent attack of Steve Martin was little more than a self serving fabrication. This interview is a perfect example of NEVER ENOUGH...

I love Miriam and we actually share the same heritage of scottish Jews who arrived in Glasgow at the turn of the century escaping pogroms from eastern europe BUT...I think sometimes she is disingenuous about her success and the fact she feels like she never got the recognition she deserves.She has done very well considering her shape and size and this does limit the roles you can play no doubt. She has done very well and the world is FULL of people who deserved more for what they do or are not well renumerated despite the work they do and skill etc so I do wish sometimes she would not play the "poor me"thing or expect she should have got better or more roles...I think she has probably #issed people off with this attitude and not got jobs because of it maybe ?!! She has done very well and has enjoyed all this success in later life through the documentaries etc and has gotten to travel and lives half her life ina huge house built in Austrailia. There are people Miriam in very desperate conditions and situations thorugh no fault of their own and maybe you could do more to help those who have alot less and put your money where your mouth is maybe...?!! Sometimes the best we can do when we feel we have not got a fair go is to help others and realise our own riches and be grateful for them...and shes right Dame Maggie and Judi do deserve all they have got,and probably because they weren't trying to compete with anyone but be entirely their own person which takes courage. Also no way could Miriam be in politics and if shes looking for something contructive to do then I am sure there are many causes she could be aligned with and helping out at...refugees,young people in disadvantaged cimmunities in London.....lots of things.She would have been a terrible politician because you need to do more than talk....actions my dear actions !!! Sorry love you but talk is cheap and people are going thorugh hard hard times
