Toni Nadal ran to Rafa to warn him about Djokovic after seeing him for the first time in 2005, and then a year later Djokovic said Nadal was "nothing special" and beatable on clay.

To Mirra: Sports reporters will have the DUMBEST questions. Please put these idiots in their place when they ask dumb questions. Like when Max Verstappen wanted to HEADBUTT someone if he heard another dumb question! You can say things like: "I've just answered that", "I'm not gonna answer that", etc.

Why would they be salty

They have largely ignored her the last year- because she's Russian Finally they are coming around to terms that she's not going away

I hope she will be number one some day, maybe in 3 years, but before my girl Rybakina must be number one for at leats one year and a half or 2 c Mirra still has lots of time for being the new number one later.

@@phantomaq Yes of course. I am also a Rybakina fan, but wish all the 16 year old girls the best. It's actually kept the tournament interesting so it will be interesting to see what come next or even what's the next throughout the season.

So??? What's your point? That doesn't prove anything. She doesn't really have matches/points to defend so that's a given. This year she will have to though because she had several 4th round matches on the tour last year. In event, the sample size is not big enough to compare the two, so it's unfair to her as well.

@jackburgess8579 I understand that you're very wrong in what you're trying to say, and you don't actually have a point or you would have told me. So I will help to disprove the point you thought you were making so you don't spread this misinformation and non-sensical point anywhere else because you're suggesting that Mirra is ahead of Coco in terms of success at the same age just based on a ranking number & a distorted age comparison. So you are wrong on so many levels. Mirra closed the 2023 season ranked 57th. She is 16 years old and 8 months as she will be 17 in April 2024. At the same age, Coco closed the 2020 season (aged 16 and 9 months) ranked 48th. She turned 17 in March of 2021. That's 9 places higher than what Mirra is ranked at the same age. So, in actuality, Coco was ranked higher than Mirra at the same age and certainly had more singles and doubles success along the way than Mirra. Throughout the season, rankings will obviously change based on performance on the tour, but you should know that Coco closed the 2021 season ranked 22nd and the following season entered the top 10 and never looked back. She's been going up ever since. So my point is, you are just looking at the number 16, but in actuality Mirra is closer to 17 than 16 and if you compare her with Coco at the same age to your non-sensical point, not only was Coco ranked higher than Mirra was, she actually had more success in terms of WTA singles & doubles titles and runner up appearances. So stop comparing the 2 and just enjoy the tennis. Hopefully, Mirra will have the same success. You see that? That's how you explain a point😂

Но смена гражданства никак не может отменить или заменить этническую принадлежность. Именно поэтому никто в мире никогда не признает французов настоящими чемпионами по футболу (когда они выиграли ЧМ). Потому что за Францию играли НЕ французы (этнически). За Францию играла сборная Африки. А если бы играли этнические французы - они бы ничего не выиграли. 🙃 Все это прекрасно понимают, даже сами французы, я полагаю.
