Thanks for taking the time and effort to make this fantastic video. It was "to the point" but still very clearly and practically explained. It's channels like this that (imho) makes RU-vid worthwhile :) Best regards.
My biggest anxiety was the day that I will have to adjust my mirror alignment. After watching this video my anxiety is gone. Pretty straightforward and simple. Thank you for making such an amazing well explained video.
This is my go-to video for alignment. It used to take me 2-3 hours to align my mirrors on my Nova 35 - now takes me 5 mins to make the slight tweaks necessary to keep everything straight. Thanks!
انا من العراق في مدينة بغداد اشكرك جدا جدا على هذه معلومات التي استفت منها جداجدا اشكرك للمرة الثانية واقول لك ربي يحفظك من كل سوء انت وعائلتك انت حقا منقذي I am from Iraq in the city of Baghdad, I thank you very much for this information from which I have been accustomed to, I thank you for the second time and I tell you, may God protect you from all the bad you and your family. You are really my sacrifice
I didn't see this comment BEFORE I tried 2 types of white, frog tape, and gaffers tape. Shame on me for not reading. But you are 100% correct that the blue works best.
Great video. I am having a problem with red light not aligning with pulse going from 2 to 3 mirror. pulse is in the middle red dot is off to the left and down a little.
Do you not have to check that the beam is coming out of the cone vertical like on the thunder video and not on an angle. Into some acrylic. It maybe dead center but still be angled if that makes sense.
the newer machines have a board to control all of that so you can defeat the interlocks for maintenance and adjustment: support.thunderlaserusa.com/portal/en/kb/articles/disabling-the-safety-interlocks-door-sensor-checking-board
I turned all 3 adjuster screws almost completely out, and my red beam is still hitting a tad high from where the actual laser pulse burns (and mine is even high from center). Not sure how I can possibly line them up…
@@ThunderLaserUSA If I find that the red dot is moving around when I move on the Y axis , does that mean the rails aren't square? If so, do you know if there is a video or documentation I can read to troubleshoot it? Thanks :)
@@lbeckingsale it most likely means you are just out of alignment. we have not yet had an instance where or gantry is out of square that i can recall. its, possible but i'd start here: support.thunderlaserusa.com/en/support/solutions/articles/65000169380-aligning-your-laser-beam
I really dont understand why machines in the USA need so much adjustment, Every single machine in the UK has been spot on from factory and even after a decade of use required zero adjustment, Do people thik if there is a problem its the mirrors, so mamy adjusting mirrors for tthe red dot alignment when the red dot is adjusted by 3 screws shown
