MIRROR DUNGEON (HARD) EXPERIENCE 

The highlight of my Hard MD2 career is watching 9 Speed, 12 Charge Rabbit Heath with 3 Atk Up Quick Suppression lose to a Rosespanner Chainsaw guy and get absolutely minced. Bollocks innit

I hate to say it but ego spamming is a legitimate strat to beat this mode.

The good news is that at least people will see the boss's animation PM put so much efort on! :D

Despite how ridiculous the rolls are. Definitely do love hard mode. Since it does bring actual difficulty back into the series again. Which is resource management. And thankfully isnt like their recent Nerf every hard thing into the ground moves.

I lost it at the edit for the Giant Clover spawn. My exact reaction too! Wasn't expecting a LEGIT GIANT clover 😭

Finally.... The difficulty curve is vertical

I really had to rethink how I play this game, MD2 hard mode slapped me with the "You can't out damage to win anymore" Hard.

mirror of mirrors is hard but let me tell you something funny about it. the enemy buffs are so strong that i saw twice in a row how a K-corp drone killed his own friends by applying buffs to them. I also found out that he also stabs buffs in multiple times in one coin and can trigger rupture making him deal around 30 damage in one skill

MD3 is going to be wild with rolls probably going to the 60-90 or even 100 roll range. Better be insane amounts of rng and difficulty PM!

On my first run, I had to fight the electric centipede and since I like to underestimate everything only Rabbit Heatclip lived. I love GANCHANG so much-

The game has a sick sense of humor having My Form Empties and the Brazen Bull in two of my first run. While it was tricky i managed. I advice some of you that E.G.O spamming isn't always useful.

MD2 hard mode is cool and all until random homeless people from G Corp start to roll 29 every damn clash. And don't even get me started on Brazen Bull Still though I enjoy it

I'm glad they're changing it so that you only have to do this shit once a week because three times is just mind numbing

I got Drifting Fox as my last Boss the first time I tried MD2 Hard and thank god I bought a lot of AOE EGOs + Sunshower EGO Gift. I also like to thank getting Litograph+Phlebotomy Pack+Base Gregor Passive for keeping my Sinners healthy throughout the run

I got my form empties today and omg as a player who straight up just auto absolutely everything, I had to reset 6 times to learn how the whole mechanics work and finally did it on my 7th attempt 💀

I'd love to see a person not use any ego from start to finish in md2 hard mode, to maximize the suffering.

I wish I had gotten fairy long legs as the final boss of hard mode, but then I faced my form empties and screeched in agony.

I don't have problem with brazen bull like other people, i just have problem with k corp stage5 and my form empty last boss fight, took me 4 tries to finish that stage

I've had good success with N.Crop teams in MD2 hard. Ego are important too as not all ego's have high enough rolls to matter. Enemy rolls are so high you need all the highest rolling egos to win many clashes on floor 4, and nearly all clashes on floor 5.

Got K corp right before the final boss and on the last turn my fucking Faust died. I thought "sure, i have a spare Gregor for heals, no problem" then the final boss was the fucking bull.

I got rusty commemorative coin at some point during my run and I remember thinking something like "Why ever would I refuse it?" Got My Form Empties as my final fight. Quit, because I'd have to ego spam to win most clashes, and we all know how that would backfire. That one move that takes ego resources when the enemy wins a clash really didn't help things either...

Poise isn’t even a meme build for MD2 Hard. She Don, KK Rodion, and LC Faust are all excellent choices because they have very high power Skill 3s, enough that they can actually keep up with the absurd power boosts that enemies get in the later floors.

I've finally run md2h and I can definitively say, it was indeed a bit more difficult than md2n. Ego resource budgeting for late game is pretty important if you don't get any resource generator ego gifts. If you do get resource generator gifts, then just spam to win while making sure you're always using fluid sac lmao. After representation emitter got uber nerfed I'd say fluid sac is easily the best ego in the game currently. It might not be able to win every clash in late game md2h but a collective 105 sp heal is simply ridiculous. (and don't get me started on commemorative coin) I haven't started running any meme builds in md2n but I feel like a speed team built around cinq don is just around the corner for me XD. I definitely want to see cinq don 1v1 the last boss of the mirror dungeon with declare duel. what's more noble than that after all? The only happy part about my experience of hard md2 was reliving the "oh shit" moment when kromer shows up for the first time (yes I got her for my f5 boss, first phase sucked a ton, and I think someone died during phase 2, but it otherwise wasn't too bad)

Mirror dungeon 2 hard mode is difficult! Could'nt even beat the floor 5 boss!

I had my form empties in 2 different runs in a row, i gotta say, he is just annoying to deal with, since is a survival fight.

I feel with new update poise generating sinners aren't very good because with 2 items you can have infinite poise while none of your identities generate it. First brethalyzer that gives 4x4 poise and four leaf clover that gives you poise whenever you crit. Alos moon stone or was it lunar? It makes all resistances like slash gloom and all others to fatal with that i killed centipide in one turn, tho on normal mode.

I wish that you never encounter the brazen bull on hard mode. So far it was the hardest boss for me.

ngl, my first run I fought kromer and its pretty easy...... still its a close call that I knew i need to prepare so i bough faust fluid sac. second run fluid sac carried hard with the healing and sp regen so I can immediately have 45 sanity sinners. second run I fought centipede and its hard as hell. not risking me distorting while doing dungeon, I choose tonplay md1 instead

bro, the giant headless shark as 4th floor boss really do be mopping me on the floor, always have 6 slots to clash, breaking its parts doesn't even reduce its coin power. It's ego spamming all the way or playing coinflips with rngesus which is not as fun as it sounds like

Two poise ego gifts that give everyone poise, and a +1 final power, bonus points if you have sunshower ego gift, looks to be crucial to even barely win half the clashes here. Fortunately our suffering will be reduced to once a week with the next update, but I'd rather not fight the bull again or even want to fight My Form Empties(as I've heard from my buddy who fought it twice, it wasn't a great experience)
