Slighlty, yes. Expect the cardboard from your plasterboard to be ripped and torn here and there, but you can fix it really easily with the appropriate fillers.
Joe Smith mirror mastic is a sub par product as far as i am concerned. it is silicone based and never truly "dries" get PL400 and some butyl tape. any reputable glass shop will know what you're asking for. don't risk your limbs. do it right.

wayyyyyy too much glue. And no butyl tape at all??? this is a dangerous risk for mirror install. whyyyyyyyyy?????? use butyl tape always. helps to tack the mirror and prevent injuries! the temp supports are industry standard for this application but nothing else about this is ok. people are gonna hurt themselves if they follow this for anything bigger than a 24x36.
