Here is my piano cover of Mirror, from Porter Robinson's upcoming album nurture. I don't usually have too much to say with these uploads, but sitting here waiting for this video to finish rendering has gotten me thinking about how true Porter's message from this song is. Although I've uploaded nearly 200 arrangements on this channel over the past 3 years, there are dozens more half-finished/finished arrangements on my hard drive filled that I never found the courage to upload mainly because of my own self-doubt. As Porter mentioned in his note, it can seem like the majority of criticism comes from other people in our lives when in reality the greatest critic is oneself. I feel like as long as you can say you put everything you had into something, there's really no shame in that.

Thank you, and thanks for the request for this song the other day! I was stumped on the intro so I ended up doing it last, and just played around with different harmonies until I found something I liked. I'm definitely interested in seeing how other people perceive and recreate the glitchy sounds!

there are notes missing on the midi from your patreon?

Hi Noah, the MIDI file is multichannel (with the right hand on the first channel and the left hand on the second channel) and it's likely that you are only viewing one channel if some notes are missing. Most DAWs should give you an option to split the channels into separate tracks, and I think FL Studio is one that I've heard where you have to specify that during the import dialog.
