Hello yash sir, I have done my BBA on MIS and want to do my master's in the relative field. But I am confused whether to go for MIS or Business Analytics. I will appreciate it if you give me your advice on the matter. I like research and analysis. I like looking at data and connecting the dots and get to a conclusion. For me they're like a puzzles and solving them releases dopamine in my head 😅😅

Do you suggest non engineers to go for the MSBA ? UCLA and other schools had more than 70% students as non engineers, but any Indian profile you find. The person is an engineer. An American or Chinese student at MSBA has studied business in most cases

Well UCLA is a very competitive school. Typically the smartest or rather Indians with fleshed out academic and professional profiles apply to it. These tend to be engineers most of the time. If you have a high quantitative aptitude it shouldn't matter if you're an engineer or not

@@HarshvardhanKanthode I’m at duke I think it’s less about the school and more about the course. A ma in political science even at Harvard will not be technical so looking at the curriculum before applying is very important

This much of detailing and throwing light even on some of the very subtle things has not been done online by any agency or counsellor till date. Yash is seriously one of the best guide for students. This video deserves much love and appreciation❤. Yash one more thing I need to ask, if am applying for Fall 21 from when shall I start preparing for my GRE and when shall I start working with YM Grad given the current condition in India?

Aryan thank you for your kind words. As for your test, you should prepare as soon as possible and finish by June in my opinion. @@YashMittraYMGrad Bro thank you very much for your suggestion :). But bro my college i.e. IIIT-Delhi has extended my 6th semester till the first week of June due to lockdown. So as soon my semester gets over I'll then immediately start preparing my GRE. Bro will that be fine because as you might know the amount of workload including exams and research work IIIT give during semester is hell a lot and that's why it's a little risky to prepare for the test in between

One thing common I noticed among most profiles is that in these profiles the undergraduate degree is in Computers or IT. I am currently enrolled in Electronics Engineering but I wish to pursue MS in MIS. Will that be a good plan. can somone guide me?

Hi Yash, firstly thank you for such an insightful video. I have a question, I am someone who do not want to go in core coding or like do not want to get a job which will have just technology and coding. I want to be in a field which a blend of both technology and management , although I have done my Btech in CS, but for masters I want to shift to a field that both technology and management / business. So keeping in mind the points like job opportunities and pay scale, which program would you suggest me, MSBA or MIS?

Hey Yash. Really like your content. I have an admit for Fall 2020 for MS-BA. It's a 3 semester course and looking at the current situation what would be the right decision? I have an option for deferring to fall 21. I have seen your older video about covid 19 situation but a fresh video on the current situation would be really helpful for making a final call.

Exactly same doubt, but i have little experience with BA as i designed dashboards and presented to business. I was primarily an ABAP resource though but i never liked ABAP so i am thinking to switch into BA but i have electrical and electronics btech degree so universities may find it difficult to understand why i would want a BA role having electrical degree. I just don't know what i have to do to convince them to admit me. Any sort of suggestions would be helpful🙏

Hi Yash sir this is Vishnu Bharath the video is amazing I totally liked it and I also have some doubts that are not only the USA offering these courses even Canada is also offering these courses and I really wanted to get to know about them because as you know when we compare both the USA and Canada Canada offers with low tuition fee and also within less than five years we could get the PR but whereas in the USA it's gonna a lot more So sir please give me some suggestions about the universities which are offering MIS programs in CANADA

Sir please guide me or whosoever is reading this comment. My sister has done BA, B.ED AND MA she was persuing for the UPSC but its been 3 years and now i am getting to worried about her future. She has good learning power and for career option i am thinking to get her in to data analyst. 1st- How feasible it is having no degree in MBA or btech to go for data analyst.
