I'm from Mumbai I think best misal is in Mumbai that's made by me ,,,,myself 😃😋...in kolhapur or otherwise also we don't use only laal tikhat...actually we use kanda lasun masala or kala masala in this that's the main test enhancer and then aroma u can imagine....yummy yummy😋😋
Made it in japan a few months ago. My mumbai friend brought all the ingredients from india. All consumed. Will try again with alternative ingredients locally available.

I got emotional. I left Mumbai for my hometown Indore due to covid. In Mumbai I would miss Indore poha samosa kachori. Now I miss Misal pav. It's such an addictive dish.
